Glyph puzzles pop up a few times throughout the campaign of The Final Shape, and much like the mote puzzle, isn't explained very clearly. Not to worry though, we'll go through the basics here so you can handle any that pop up along your journey.
Glyph puzzles are nice and simple, but they can have some variations and they can be partially randomized, so sadly there can be no one solution for all Glyph puzzles.
How to do Glyph Puzzles in The Final Shape
When you spot a door blocked by a glyph, in the vicinity there will be one of those strange barrier generators (which you'll have seen plenty of to reach this point). Shooting one will grant you the 'Glyphtouched' buff, and this is what allows you to see glyphs. Glyphs will drop from certain enemies, for example in one mission they spawned from those big ol' Fallen Shanks, as seen below.
Upon killing one of these carrier enemies, the Glyph will appear as a floating icon above where they died. So far there appears to be four possible glyphs. These are:
- The Witness
- The Pyramid
- A Ghost
- A Triangle
Upon killing the carrier enemy, four auras with four icons above them will spawn near the blocked door. All you need to do is walk into the one that matches the one dropped by the carrier enemy you killed. In certain situations, you'll have multiple glyphs to walk through, and in these situations it's important to note the order of glyphs you see as you kill enemies. Which enemy you kill first doesn't matter, but you must remember the order the glyphs dropped in.
That's everything you need to know to solve any Glyph puzzle that might come your way.
