Destiny 2 Season of Dawn Ritual Weapons List

Our Destiny 2 Season of Dawn Ritual Weapons Guide features a full look at all of the available guns that you can earn during this brand new season of the game! These weapons are generally PVP focused, so you will need to get your hands a bit dirty to obtain them. However, they are quite powerful and represent an objective for you to obtain while slaughtering your fellow guardians!

Ritual Weapons have replaced the old Pinnacle Weapons that were popular among collectors. These new weapons will no longer have special perks and will instead feature curated rolls. This seems to be a way to keep things more fair across the board, and will make it easier to balance in the future.

Python Energy Shotgun

"If they let you get that close, they deserve it." —The Drifter

Perks

• Aggressive Frame - Hard-hitting, high recoil. Increases rate of fire after kill.
• Choice of Overflow or Feeding Frenzy
  • Overflow - Picking up Special or Heavy ammo reloads this weapon to beyond normal capacity.
  • Feeding Frenzy - Kills with this weapon increase reload speed for a short time.
• Choice of Shield Disorient or One-Two Punch
  • Shield Disorient - Energy matched shield explosion disorients nearby combatants.
  • One-Two Punch - Hitting an enemy with every pellet in a shot increases melee damage for a short duration.

How-to Obtain

If you want to earn the Python Energy Shotgun, you'll need to head on over to The Drifter and receive the Get Closer quest:

Complete the following objectives in Gambit matches to recieve the Python. Both combatants and Guardians grant points. Guardians grant the most efficient progress.

You'll need to complete the following objectives to complete this quest:

• [Shotgun] Close-range final blows: 150
• [Shotgun] Final blows: 500
• Infamy rank "Heroic": 1

Once you've completed those objectives, you'll just need to return to The Drifter at the Tower and receive your reward!

Komodo-4FR Linear Fusion Rifle

I await the perfect moment and watch my enemies decay.

Perks

• Precision Frame - Fires a long-range precision energy bolt. This weapon's recoil pattern is more predictably vertical.
• Choice of Eye of the Storm or Box Breathing
  • Eye of the Storm - This weapon becomes more accurate and boosts handling as your health gets lower.
  • Box Breathing - Aiming this weapon for a short period without firing grants bonus range and precision damage that resets after firing or exiting zoom.
• Choice of No Distractions or Moving Target
  • No Distractions - Aiming this weapon for a short period reduces flinch.
  • Moving Target - Increased movement speed and target acquisition when moving while aiming down sights.

How-to Obtain

If you want to earn the Komodo-4FR Linear Fusion Rifle, you'll need to head on over to Lord Shaxx and receive the Heart of the Dragon quest:

Complete the following objectives in Crucible matches to receive the Komodo-4FR.

"It takes more than grit to succeed here. It takes heart." —Lord Shaxx

You'll need to complete the following objectives to complete this quest:

• [Linear Fusion Rifle] Precision final blows: 15
• [Linear Fusion Rifle] Final blows: 125
• Glory rank "Heroic": 1

Once you've completed those objectives, you'll just need to return to Lord Shaxx at the Tower and receive your reward!

Buzzard Sidearm

Circle 'round, great harbinger of death.

Perks

• Adaptive Frame - A well-rounded grip, reliable and sturdy.
• Choice of Outlaw or Fourth Time's the Charm
  • Outlaw - Precision kills greatly decrease reload time.
  • Fourth Time's the Charm - Rapidly landing precision hits will return two rounds to the magazine.
• Choice of Osmosis or Swashbuckler
  • Osmosis - Using your grenade ability changes this weapon's damage type to match your subclass until you stow it.
  • Swashbuckler - This weapon gains increased damage from melee kills and kills with this weapon.

How-to Obtain

If you want to earn the Buzzard Sidearm, you'll need to head on over to Zavala and receive the Anything That Moves quest:

Complete the following objectives in strike playlists to receive the Sidearm Buzzard.

"I hope you're not afraid to get up close and personal out there, Guardian." —Zavala

You'll need to complete the following objectives to complete this quest:

• [Sidearm] Final blows: 1500
• [Sidearm] Airborne final blows: 50
• Points: 4500

Once you've completed those objectives, you'll just need to return to Commander Zavala at the Tower and receive your reward!
