The anticipated expansion for Destiny 2 is fast approaching. Promising to build upon the Destiny license further, Bungie unveiled the next chapter in the Guardian's story, along with a release date during Gamescom 2021.
Destiny 2: The Witch Queen will launch on February 22, 2022, on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. There are several versions of the expansion available for preorder as well, which are listed below:

The Witch Queen plans to introduce a new campaign focused on the aforementioned Witch Queen, Savathûn, and a new location: Savathûn's Throne World. Weapon Crafting is another of the improvements set to be released alongside the upcoming expansion. Custom weaponry, deployable energy shields, and the new Glaive weapon type will also debut when The Witch Queen launches in early 2022.
