It's that time of year again! With a new expansion comes the much-heralded raid race. This time it's Lightfall's Root of Nightmares raid with long-touted baddie Nezarec as the final boss. The Traveler has been ravaged by The Witness and Guardians must stop an ancient evil from coming back to life. We're still hazy on the details as to how one can come back to life from being brewed as a tea.
How to watch the Root of Nightmares Raid Race
Players that want to watch the Destiny 2 Lightfall Root of Nightmares Raid Race will want to tune into the Twitch Rivals channel. It shows which teams are in the lead by the number of encounters completed. Otherwise, players can tune into individual players' streams like Datto, Satlagreppo, and Aztecross.
The raid race is measured by the number of encounters completed. There are four total encounters in the Root of Nightmares raid. The winner of this challenge will earn bragging rights and the Root of Nightmares World First Raid Race Belt.
