All Nightmare Dungeons Affixes in Diablo 4 and what they mean

Nightmare Dungeons serve as Diablo 4's primary means of replayability. They offer highly custom experiences due to the many different types of affixes that can be attached to them. There are a lot of possible affixes you can get when you spawn a Nightmare Dungeon, so allow me to list them out for you, for your viewing pleasure. Here's every Nightmare Dungeon Affix in Diablo 4.

Every Nightmare Dungeon Affix in Diablo IV

There are a ton of potential affixes you can get, and they come in two flavors: Positive and Negative. Positive affixes give you a buff, and Negative affixes give you a nerf, while you're within the confines of a Nightmare Dungeon. For clarity, I'll separate the two types for easier viewing:

All Nightmare Dungeon Positive Affixies

  • Frost Damage - Increases the amount of Frost damage you deal
  • Gold Find - You find 30% more gold from drops and loot
  • Magic Find - You get more item drops from enemies
  • Battle Hardened - You get 6% damage reduction for every 10% health you're missing
  • Controlled Impaired Explosions - When you're crowd control in any way, an explosion pulses around you
  • Thorns - Your Thorns stat is increased by 491
  • Cooldown Reduction - Reduces Cooldowns on a kill
  • Poisonous Evade - Pressing Evade leaves a pool of DoT poison behind
  • Nudging Evade - Pressing Evade knocks enemies back
  • Increased Critical Strike - Increases your crit strike chance by 9%
  • Lightning Caller - Lightning Strikes periodically strike nearby foes around you
  • Lightning Damage - Increases your Lightning Damage
  • Shadow Damage - Increases your Shadow Damage
  • Poison Damage - Increases your Poison Damage

All Nightmare Dungeon Negative Affixies

  • Armor Breakers - Monsters that strike you from a distance reduce your Armor by 7% for 6 seconds, stacking up to 35%
  • Dodge Breakers - Monsters that strike you from a distance reduce your Dodge Chance by 12% for 6 seconds, stacking up to 60%
  • Potion Breakers - Monsters that strike you from a distance have a 30% chance to disable your healing potion for two seconds
  • Resistance Breakers - Monsters that strike you from a distance reduced your resistance by 10% for six seconds, stacking up to 50%
  • Avenger - Killing a monster empowers its allies, increasing their damage against you
  • Death Pulse - Upon death, monsters release a powerful lightning pulse after a short delay

  • Empowered Elites (Cold) - Elite enemies within the dungeon will all have the Cold Enchanted affix
  • Empowered Elites (Shock Lance) - Elite enemies within the dungeon will all have the Electric Lance affix
  • Empowered Elites (Suppressor) - Elite enemies within the dungeon will all have the Suppressor affix
  • Blood Blister - On death, monsters have a chance to spawn a glob of blood that explodes for damage unless killed
  • Double Bosses - Two bosses spawn instead of one
  • Melee Defenders - Monsters take 40% less damage from Close attacks
  • Lightning Storm - Lightning gathers periodically around you alongside a protective dome which must be used to evade it
  • Ranged Defenders - Monsters take 60% less damage from range attacks
  • Slowing Projectiles - Monster range attacks have a 50% chance to slow
  • Stormbane's Wrath - A pulsing orb chances you, dealing damage
  • Unstoppable Monsters - Monsters become unstoppable when under 30% health
  • Volcanic - Flames erupt near you when in combat
  • Nightmare Portals - Portals randomly spawn, causing more monsters to appear

  • Monster Attack Speed - Monsters have increased attack speed within the dungeon
  • Monster Bleeding Damage - Monsters deal an additional 30% of their Physical damage as Bleeding over five seconds
  • Monster Burning Damage - Monsters deal an additional 30% of their Physical damage as Burning over five seconds
  • Monster Cold Damage - Monsters deal an additional 15% of their Physical damage as Cold
  • Monster Fire Damage - Monsters deal an additional 20% of their Physical damage as Fire
  • Monster Lightning Damage - Monsters deal an additional 20% of their Physical damage as Lightning
  • Monster Poison Damage - Monsters deal an additional 30% of their Physical Damage as Poison over five seconds
  • Monster Shadow Damage - Monsters deal an additional 20% of their Physical damage as Shadow
  • Monster Shadow Damage Over Time - Monsters deal an additional 30% of their Physical Damage as Shadow over five seconds
  • Monster Life - Monsters have 30% more health
  • Monster Regen - Non-boss monsters regenerate 1.5% health per second
  • Monster Critical Resist - Monsters take 60% less damage from critical hits
  • Monster Burning Resist - Monsters take 60% less Burning damage
  • Monster Crowd Control Resist - Monsters are crowd controlled for 40% less time
  • Monster Vulnerable Resist - Monsters are Vulnerable for 60% less time
  • Monster Physical Resist - Monsters take 30% less Physical Damage
  • Monster Poison Resist - Monsters take 60% less Poison Damage
  • Monster Shadow Resist - Monsters take 40% less Shadow Damage
  • Monster Barrier - Monsters have a barrier that is 30% of their max health
