Bone Spear Necromancer Build – Diablo 4 Season 1

Necromancer Rasputin build!

Diablo 4 has released Season 1, and with it, the opportunity to try out some new classes. With all the balance shifts and nerfs since the game's launch, Necromancer seems to be the most popular class. I have started the new season with a brand new Necromancer character, using the famous Bone Spear build, and I am pleased to say that it works beautifully. In this guide, we will cover everything that makes this build so popular and show you how to do it properly.

The most OP Bone Spear Necromancer Build - Diablo 4 Season 1

The Bone Spear Necromancer Build is considered by a broad player base to be the most OP build in Diablo 4, as the most effective one in Season 1. This stems from the fact that Necromancer is the best class for Diablo 4 Season of the Malignant because it avoided the majority of the pre-seasonal nerfs other classes have been struck with. As a result, we can still build the Necromancer around the Bone Spear ability, giving you an excellent build whether you are doing speed runs, clearing Nightmare dungeons, or fighting Uber Lilith.

Endgame Gear for the Bone Spear Necromancer build in Diablo 4 Season 1

A Bone Spear build for the Necromancer in Diablo 4 Season 1 will largely depend on the gear you have, especially in the endgame when you hit level 50 with your character. A good, build-oriented gear will mean a difference between your build two-shotting the most powerful enemies or underperforming in battle.

The Bone Spear is an endgame Necromancer Build that revolves around the Bone Spear ability, providing high-crit chance and high damage output while making almost all enemies on the screen Vulnerable. The crucial part of this build is obtaining an Aspect of Exposed Flesh, which will provide you with nearly unlimited Essence. If you don't obtain it immediately, equipping Penitent Greaves is a great alternative, together with an Aspect of Umbral, which you can get by completing the Champions Demise dungeon.

Book of the Dead build for the Bone Spear Necromancer build in Diablo 4 Season 1

There are three types of available minions in the Necromancer's Book of the Dead in Diablo 4 Season 1, but we will need to sacrifice all of them for their buffs to the Necromancer and maximize the build's damage output.

  • Skeletal Warrior: Sacrificing them provides us with a massive damage buff to the build. The first sacrifice provides you with an extra crit chance.
  •  Skeletal Mage: Sacrificing your Skeletal Mages provides increased damage to enemies that are Vulnerable.
  • Golem: Sacrificing Golem benefits you with increased critical damage for your abilities.
