One of the most important decisions in Diablo 4 is choosing a class and creating your character. I've spent hours playing a bit every class before making a choice. Not to mention that it took me forever to create each character's looks. I chose Rogue, but regardless of which class you select, be prepared to invest a lot of time playing. Now imagine having that character gone! This may leave you wondering how to fix your Diablo 4 character not appearing or being deleted.
How to fix your Character being Deleted or Not Showing up in Diablo IV
Unfortunately, you cannot do much if your character is deleted or not appearing in Diablo IV. This issue seems to be caused by the overwhelming strain on the Diablo 4 servers. As a result, issues are popping up, which include your character not being there when you try to play. The good news is that your character is not deleted and will be there once the issue is resolved.
While there isn't much you can do, you can take some steps to make sure your character is visible again:
- Check Diablo 4 Twitter - Head to the official @Diablo Twitter account to see if there are any ongoing server issues or maintenance. This lets you know if you should expect your character to be deleted or not appear.
- Restart Diablo 4 - This does mean you will need to rejoin the ever-long queues, but it will at least give you a chance to get into the game. Lastly, you can make a new character but you must start over. But you can use this to try a new class out.
- Repair the game - Open Battle.net and visit the Diablo 4 section. Head to Options and select Scan and Repair option.
