Fun features and new content are always coming to Disney Dreamlight Valley, including fan-favorite characters and brand-new quests and rewards. Here are the latest patch notes for DDV!

Disney Dreamlight Valley Hotfix Patch Notes - January 22, 2024

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed Glitchy Pixels from making materials disappear when crafting
  • Fixed Fairy Godmother from freezing during WoL animation
  • Fixed crash from happening when selecting Dreamlight menu while offline
  • Fixed Glitchy Pixels from not showing on the Crafting Table when they were in player's storage
  • Fixed placeholder icon IP's from showing
  • Fixed Flynn Scramblecoin figurine from showing as Frozen rather than Tangled
  • Fixed fishing ripples from only showing at a certain range
  • Fixed Right Rose Eyepatch from preventing players from changing outfits
  • Fixed Ancient's Landing unreachable fishing spots

  • Xbox players can join Valley Visit via friends list without code
  • Fixed The Forgotten from showing without a body
  • Fixed Dapper WALL-E's hat allignment
  • Removed the Right Rose Eyepatch from Scrooge's shop
  • Removed the invisible wall in the Borderlands
  • Fixed grid issues and invisible items in Eternity Isle
  • Optimized Scramblecoin AI and added difficulty indicators
  • Fixed Capybara to drop feeding rewards

Disney Dreamlight Valley Hotfix Patch Notes - December 11/12, 2023

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed crashes from happening during rainy weather
  • Balanced spawn rates for Tropical Wood and other resources
  • Fixed Festive Bow back to the color red
  • Fixed issues with cross-play and cross-save for Xbox and Microsoft players

Disney Dreamlight Valley Pumpkin King Update Patch Notes - December 4, 2023

New Content and Improvements: 

- Get ready to welcome the Pumpkin King to your Valley! Jack Skellington arrives along with new quests and unique items that will help bring the excitement of Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas to your Village.

- An all-new multiplayer mode comes to the game with Valley Visits. Hang out, share items, and collect new Pixel Shards to craft powerful cooking and crafting buffs!

- Make your Valley into a royal winter wonderland with the new Royal Winter Star Path.

- Explore new optional items in the Premium Shop for a limited time.

- Complete new weekly DreamSnaps challenges to show off your unique style and win Moonstones.

- Keep an eye out for gifts and wrapping paper around the Valley with the return of the holiday event.

- Knee length versions of basic skirts added to provide you with more outfit options!

- Have more control over your Valley with the ability to add and remove Villagers using the map menu. Please note that villagers will always appear in your village if required for a quest.

- Some characters have received updates to their animations – enjoy catching them emoting across your Valley!

- Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time expansion pass is available now, offering the first of three epic Acts! Click here to see what you can expect.

Top Changes and Bug Fixes:

- Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, Mickey and Friends, and Moana furniture collections feature small changes in color and shape, all aimed at creating a more cohesive and unified look.

- Goofy’s Signature Hat is now more iconically Goofy – it has been sized up to match his own hat in-game.

- Adjusted hem length of cropped tops to match length of “Heart of Te Fiti” Camisole.

- Minnie’s Dinner Party Gown hem lengthened.

- Roughed up Ralph’s Sturdy Overalls by removing the patches and adding signs of wear and tear.

- Mickey-Mouse-Patch Jean Jacket back patch adjusted.

- Moana’s fishing stall adjusted to more accurately depict her wa'a kaulua.

- A bug related to the Pumpkin House not correctly appearing in the Forgotten Lands for some players has been fixed.

- “Deal of the Day: The Chocolate Fountain”: A bug related to the spawning of ice shards has been fixed.

- “Strut Your Stuff: a bug related to the spawning of Sunbird feathers has been fixed.

- “Lair Sweet Lair”: A bug related to the spawning of paper has been fixed.

- “The Great Blizzard”: A bug related to the spawning of water particles has been fixed.

- “A Broken Sled”: A bug related to the game freezing while trying to pick up the sled has been fixed.

- “What Home Feels Like”: a bug related to the secret chest spawning has been addressed to unblock any players who encounter the issue.

- A bug related to Lioness Statue in the Forest of Valor becoming unreachable has been addressed.

- A variety of bugs related to the appearance of certain items, including furniture and level blockers when viewed with certain graphical settings, has been fixed.

- An issue with villagers spawning too close to each other, causing graphical issues, has been fixed.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Hotfix Patch Notes - September 28, 2023

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed Haunted Mansion House Skin causing Initialization Error if the game is closed or reopened. Players can now equip the Haunted Mansion without error
  • Fixed increased lag issue with the Beauty and the Beast Realm
  • Xbox Series S and X are temporarily capped at 30fps to reduce crash instances
  • Fixed a crash that occurred when opening the Map
  • Fixed Beach House House Style in which the entrance was flipped 90 degrees
  • Fixed Haunted Holiday Star Path items from being sold in Scrooge's shop for 1 Star Coin
  • Fixed Skeletal Tool Set individual tool skins from appearing with placeholder names
  • Fixed unowned tool skins from appearing with placeholder names in the Wardrobe menu
  • Fixed "Miracles Take Time" quest, in which the Pumpkin House didn't appear in Forbidden Lands
  • Fixed "The Heart of Dreamlight Valley" quest with a workaround solution that will add water to the affected player's inventories
  • Fixed "The Best Mystery Solver in Dreamlight Valley" quest in which the note from the board was unreachable
  • Increased resolution for reward previews in Haunted Holiday Star Path
  • Adjusted eye color of one of Ursula's eels
  • Adjusted names for multiple quests
  • Adjusted Beauty and the Beast Realm unlock text
  • Updated newsfeed preview image and banner for Ursula's Transformation Dream Bundle
  • Various additional bug fixes, localization fixes, and stability improvements

Disney Dreamlight Valley Enchanted Adventure Patch Notes - September 13, 2023

These are all changes and improvements coming to the game with the Enchanted Adventure update on September 13, 2023. Be sure to download the update after release to see them in your game.

New Content and Improvements:

  • Beauty and The Beast Realm
  • Belle and Beast characters with Friendship Quests and rewards
  • Ursula’s Transformation Dream Bundle with a human form Dream Style in the Premium Shop, including exclusive quests, outfits, accessories, and furniture
  • Haunted Holiday Star Path
  • New quests continuing the story of The Forgotten
  • Limited-time items in the Premium Shop
  • Seasonal Halloween Dreamlight Duties on October 24 - November 1
  • Receive more units of fences and paths when crafting
  • Items previously found exclusively in pouches are now available in Scrooge's Shop
