Glitchy Pixel Duplicates are unique items that can only be crafted by using Pixel Shards collected while playing in a Multiplayer server. They act as wildcard ingredients, allowing you to replace missing ingredients and craft items that you wouldn't be able to make otherwise.

How to get Pixel Shards in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To collect some Pixel Shards required to make a Glitchy Pixel Duplicate, you're going to need to either join or create a Multiplayer lobby using your Multiplayer Hub, which you'll get from completing Vanellope's quest "Valley Visits!" The Pixel Shards will appear randomly around your Valley for you to pick up, but only when another player joins your game.

How to get a Glitchy Pixel Duplicate in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Once you have some Pixel Shards, head to the nearest Crafting Table and open up the Refined Materials tab. You'll find some recipes for a Glitchy Pixel Duplicate. It will take up to 5 Pixel Shards to make one Duplicate, so stay in a game with your friend and try to wander around and collect as many as you can. You can also try to leave and join back or join another friend to find some more.

How to use Gitchy Pixel Duplicates in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Glitchy Duplicates act as a wildcard ingredient, meaning they can fill in for any ingredient you don't have to help you create the desired item. You can see how many Duplicates you have when you open the Crafting Table and look at the top right corner. Then, click on a recipe you wouldn't usually be able to craft, and it will allow you to fill in for missing ingredients using your Duplicates. However, you'll have a Duplicate for each missing ingredient; e.g. 3 Coal Ores = 3 Glitchy Pixel Duplicates.

How to fix the Glitchy Pixel Duplicate bug in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Glitchy Pixel Duplicates are a game changer, allowing you to craft more items, even if you don't have the right ingredients.
