How to get Daisy Duck in Disney Dreamlight Valley (You Have Mail!)

This is feeling very familiar.

Update 10 for Disney Dreamlight Valley is here! Whether you're enjoying Eternity Isle or still happily running around the valley, Daisy Duck is back in town and it's time to welcome her home. Be sure to download the new update first, or you won't be able to access the quest and understand how to get Daisy Duck as a resident in your valley.

How to unlock Daisy Duck in Disney Dreamlight Valley

When you load your game up after downloading update 10, you'll notice that some villagers have left some letters and gifts in your mailbox alongside your reward for the Monster-sona DreamSnaps event.

Your game will prompt you to go and talk to Mickey Mouse to start the 'You Have Mail!" quest. Mickey will be excited about having also received a letter, addressed to himself and Minnie. Mickey announces that the letter is from Daisy, and that she's finally coming back to the valley after a long trip away.

Daisy has asked if you can make sure her house is ready for her. As she hasn't been part of the game until now, that means you have a new valley house to place and pay Scrooge for.

After placing her house from the furniture menu, the quest asks that you use Scrooge's sign to unlock it. Daisy's house costs 20,000 gold coins, which isn't too bad considering how expensive other items (like Moana's fishing boat upgrades) are in the game.

Once you've paid, you'll get the welcome screen for Daisy, and she'll pop up out of the plaza well in a cloud of dreamlight dust.

But that's not the end of the 'You Have Mail!' quest! Daisy asks you to meet her inside her house.

It's time to bring Daisy's Boutique back to Dreamlight Valley.

How to unlock Daisy's Boutique

Daisy tells you that to unlock the Boutique, you'll need to resize it. It was shrunk down and hidden in her house all this time!

To make the Boutique its proper size again, craft the Wonderland Amplification Elixir at a workstation. To do this, you'll need:

  • 5 Dream Shards
  • 5 Carrots
  • 3 Topaz gems
  • 3 White Daisies

If you don't have these, consider asking in a Disney Dreamlight Valley community group like those that have gift houses. Lots of posts in those groups are talking about helping each other with the new update at the moment. Go into your inventory, use the potion, and then head back to Daisy's place.

Water it, watch it sparkle, and pick it up.

You can now place the Boutique anywhere in your valley to enjoy this brand-new feature alongside a new friend. I decided to place mine in the Sunlit Plateau next to my little Disney park because it looks a bit like a theme park gift shop.
