Odd Key

Your adventure begins in the Wonderland Forest, near the Cheshire Cat's tree. To find the first of the hidden Alice in Wonderland keys, you'll need to walk straight toward the top-left clearing of the forest.

In the far clearing, you’ll see a long pink log by a sign that says "up." Interact with it, and—poof!—it will turn into a chest. There's a second long pink log ahead of it that does the same thing. One of these two log chests contains the Odd Key, the other usually contains food. Collect the key from the ground and continue.

To find the next secret Alice in Wonderland key, head south to the center-left clearing of the forest. On the left side of this area, you’ll spot a rock with a lock on it.

Use the Odd Key you got near Cheshire's tree to open the rock and find the Weird Key hidden inside.

Now go right from the center-left clearing into the area with the giant Singing Daffodil (hard to miss—it’s got real stage presence).

Across from the daffodil, you’ll find another locked rock. Use your Weird Key here to unlock it and receive the Strange Key. You now have three of the eight Alice in Wonderland keys in DDV.

Time to press on! From the Singing Daffodil, go left into the top-middle clearing, then right into the top-right clearing. This spot is near the entrance to the Queen’s Maze. You won't be able to access this area until you have followed the Mome Raths during the Wonders of Wonderland quest.

You'll see your next locked rock at the entrance to the mushroom path that they lead you to, near a bush next to the final set of Mome Raths.

Use your Strange Key here to unlock the rock and grab the Peculiar Key.

Curious Key

Next up, it’s time to enter the Queen’s Maze. Use the tree portal at the end of the mushroom path to get to the start of the maze.

Behind the tree portal on the other side, you'll see a purple lock on the hedge. It's the easiest lock you'll come across and it's yours to open with your Peculiar Key. Collect the Curious Key, and off you go!

Head into the Queen’s Maze, take a left at the first intersection, then another left at the second.

Walk forward until you see a tall hedge with a heart on top—very on-brand for Wonderland.
Check the back of this hedge for the next lock, and use the Curious Key to open it and pick up the Uncanny Key.

Bizarre Key (How to Complete the Queen's Maze)

This one of the Alice in Wonderland keys is a bit trickier to find. If you haven't finished the first part of the Queen's Maze quest yet, you're going to have to roll up your sleeves here.

  1. Follow the edge of the maze around and go past the large gate.
  2. Wait for the card guard to shift to the right, and run around him.
  3. Wait for him to shift his sight to the left again and interact with the lever.
  4. Run around the guard and through the now-open gate.
  5. On the left side of the path, there's a tall hedge that will recede if you get close to it. Trigger the lever behind it once you do.
  6. Run around the next guard and head north.
  7. Run around the third guard and through the heart-shaped entrance.
  8. Go to the right and run around the guard next to the black fencing.
  9. Head left and go through the hedge that recedes to find a third heart lever. Trigger it.
  10. Leave through the other side of the hedge and go to the right. On the left side of this area (the side from where you entered), there's another receding hedge between the two card guards. Trigger the fourth heart lever there.
  11. Go into the new area.
  12. Run around the guards to the other side until you reach a row of cards and an open path.
  13. Hug the hedge to the right (essentially going back on yourself without going into the final area) until you see two guards with lines of sight that cross each other. The lock is on the hedge next to them.

Alternatively, if you've completed the Queen's Maze quest, you can use the teleports to get there:

  1. Return to the Wonderland Forest using the tree portal.
  2. Take the springy pink mushroom to teleport into the Queen’s Garden.
  3. Re-enter the maze from the Garden side.

Once inside, wait for the three guards to look away. Then turn left and hug the wall of the maze to the left until you spot two card guards facing each other. The lock you need is on the hedge wall behind the guard on the left.

Use the Uncanny Key on the lock behind them to get the Bizarre Key.

Fantastical Key

The final Alice in Wonderland key can be found during the Teeny, Tiny Problems quest. After helping Alice return to her usual size, she'll lead you to some animals in cages that she wants to free. The cages are locked, and you need four cage keys to unlock them. But that's another story.

To lock is just to the left of the cages in the top left corner of the Queen's Garden. Use your Bizarre Key to unlock it and claim the Fantastical Key.

If you're coming back here post-quest, just use the springy pink mushroom to get back to the Queen's Garden and head to the corner again.

With the last of the Alice in Wonderland keys in hand, head to the end of the Queen’s Garden, where you’ll see a large iron gate. Use your hard-earned key to unlock the gate, and you’ll find a pouch labeled "Hidden Reward".

What’s inside? Three gorgeous Wonderland-themed decorations:

There is a second Hidden Reward furniture pouch that you may miss if you aren't interacting with all of the Cheshire-pink objects in the Wonderland forest. Two clearings north of Cheshire's tree, right next to a pink tree with the sign "up" on it, there are two pink rocks huddled together.

Interact with them, and a furniture pouch will pop out containing several Wonderland signs!
