How to get Flour in Eastward Octopia

Flour is an important ingredient for a lot of different recipes in Eastward Octopia. You'll want to have some for your cooking leisure, but also to satisfy Lee with some Shrimp Dumplings. Here's how to get some!

How to make Flour in Eastward Octopia

Flour is a bit more complicated of an ingredient to get, and that's because you'll need to make it yourself. It is especially important to have some for the beginning quest to make Lee some Shrimp Dumplings, so here's how to make some:

The first step to making Flour is to purchase wheat seeds. Wheat seeds are available at William's Trading Post for 25 Salt each. Once you have the wheat seeds, plant them at your farm using your Hoe and ensure you water them with your Watering Can. They will take a day or two to grow fully, so be patient. When they're fully grown, you can use your Harvesting Gloves to pick them up.

With your harvested wheat, you can now make Flour. Head over to the Mill on the right side of the farm beside Yuuyu (where you found the Watering Can farming tool). The Mill will give you the option to grind up the wheat. You can either do this yourself or pay Yuuyu 50 coins to do it for you. All you'll need to do is smash the Spacebar on the PC or the A button on the Switch or Controller to use the Mill. Then you'll receive your Flour!

How to make Shrimp Dumpling in Eastward Octopia

You can use your Flour to make the Shrimp Dumpling recipe for Lee, or if you already have, hang onto it for another recipe. Thankfully, the Flour is the hardest ingredient to get for Shrimp Dumpling. Here's what you'll need:

• Flour - Made from Wheat at the Mill
• Shrimp - Caught from blue fish at the farm fishing spots
• Carrot - Grown from carrot seeds from William's Trading Post

You can just head into your farmhouse and use the pot in the bottom right corner to cook up the meal. Hang onto the Shrimp Dumpling until Lee shows up to complete the quest. Or, serve it up at dinner for a refreshing meal that will boost your energy for the next day.
