Search the paths ahead until you find her (just explore each of the dead ends). Once complete, both Wyler and Marin will join your party.

Now go west across to Dappled Forest. Take the eastern path once inside to a small hut, where you'll meet Kerrin. Kerrin says they'll join you if you collect 20 pieces of lumber. You can find all the lumber you need in this forest by following the path north, and then west, and collecting it along the way. Once you have at least 20, return to Kerrin and they'll join you.

Note that after Kerrin joins, you can't explore further here yet. However, if you go and have another random battle or two in the forest, all the lumber spots will replenish, allowing you to gather a bunch more lumber. Lumber is useful for building and upgrading the fortress, so you can never have too much of it!
