Best Boss Weapons in Elden Ring

In Elden Ring, players will acquire various weapons from Remembrances after defeating Demi-Gods and Great Enemy class bosses. These weapons will allow players to perform special attacks and can be upgraded with Somber Smithing Stones for a stronger impact. Similarly, completing certain questlines will give players a few legendary weapons.

Starscourge Greatsword

The Starscourge Greatsword can be acquired after defeating General Radahn at Redmane Castle. This Greatsword can be dual-wielded with each hand, and it is imbued with special Gravitational powers.

Players can use the Unique Skill, Starcaller Cry, to damage and pull in enemies nearby. This attack costs around 20 FP each time. Press the Strong Attack button to follow up this attack with a huge blade slam. The Starscourge Greatsword is a versatile boss weapon that you can use in every situation.

Attributes required:

  • Strength: 38
  • Intelligence: 15
  • Dexterity: 12

Maliketh's Black Blade

You can acquire Maliketh's Black Blade by defeating Maliketh at Crumbling Farum Azula. Players need to use 40 FP every time to activate its Unique Skill. This weapon is also imbued with Holy damage.

Its Unique Skill, Destined Death, allows players to plunge the blade into the ground to summon myriads of red slashes. In addition to dealing damage, this attack reduced the enemy's maximum HP and continues to wear down HP for a short while. 

Attributes required:

  • Strength: 34
  • Faith: 20
  • Dexterity: 12

Dragon King's Cragblade

The Dragon King's Cragblade can be acquired by defeating Dragonlord Palacidusax. Its Unique Skill, Thundercloud Form, allows players to temporarily transform into a red thundercloud to fly and plunge enemies with lightning.

This Unique Skill costs 35 FP every time players activate it. You can also hold down the Strong Attack button to increase the thundercloud's distance.

Attributes required:

  • Strength: 18
  • Dexterity: 37

Morgott's Cursed Sword

Morgott's Cursed Sword is one of the strongest Curved Greatswords in Elden Ring. It can be acquired after defeating Morgott at the Elden Throne in Lyndell. Players need to use 20 FP every time to activate this weapon's Unique Skill. 

Players can use its Unique Skill, Cursed-Blood Strike, to charge forward and deliver a downward diagonal slice. The trail of the blade is followed up with a burst of flame. Pressing down on additional input will allow you to follow up with another attack. 

Attributes required:

  • Strength: 14
  • Dexterity: 35
  • Arcane: 17

Dark Moon Greatsword

Although this sword isn't technically a "boss" weapon, it stands out from the other legendary armaments. The Dark Moon Greatsword can be acquired by completing Ranni's questline. This legendary weapon is one of the strongest Greatswords in the game.

Its Unique Skill, Moonlight Greatsword, charges the sword with light from the dark moon. Magic attack power temporarily increases, and the blade gets imbued with frost damage. Additionally, performing Charged attacks will release arc blasts of moonlight. 

Attributes required:

  • Strength: 16
  • Dexterity: 11
  • Intelligence: 38
