Follow the instructions below to locate Broken Great Rune in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.

  1. Get close to the Shadow Keep to trigger the message "Somewhere, a great rune has broken" and "And so too has a powerful charm."
  2. Travel to Cerulean Coast and find a huge hole, as shown on the map above. This is an entrance to the Stone Coffin crypt.
  3. Head down and look for the yellow border with Miquella’s symbol.
  4. "Great rune has broken" means you can now walk through this barrier as the rune that kept it locked is now broken.
  5. What you do in the crypt is a bit of a spoiler, but it will share a bit more lore around Miquella.
  6. Return to Stone Fissure and talk to Needle Knight Leda and other characters there to pick up some new quests.
