How to get a mount in Elden Ring?

Torrent is the name!

Elden Ring is set to arrive on Feb. 25, 2022, and players who have pre-ordered the game can preload it now on every platform. The game will feature a horse that players will meet early in the story, and it can be summoned to venture around the Lands Between.

To get a mount players will first need to visit and rest at three Sites Of Grace. Visiting and resting at the First Step, Church Of Elleh, and Gatefront will complete this mission, and a cutscene starts where players are introduced to Melina. She will give you the Spectral Steed Whistle which summons a horse named Torrent

How to get a horse

Using the Spectral Steed Whistle will allow players to get a horse easily in Elden Ring. Players can mount Torrent by simply using the whistle, and can also use the horse during combat. If the Spectral Steed dies in battle, then players can summon it again by using one Flask of Crimson Tears. Dismounting the horse can be done by using the whistle again.

Players can also level up after resting at Gatefront. Spend Runes collected throughout the journey to increase specific attributes in Elden Ring. Each attribute increases by one level, and the next upgrade requires more Runes.
