How to get Curseblade’s Cirque in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree (Map Location)

Be careful, it's sharp.

One of the new weapons in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree is Curseblade's Cirque. Here is how you can get this circular blade in Elden Ring's Shadow Realm early on.

Where to find Curseblade's Cirque in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Early

You can get Curseblade's Cirque by defeating Masked Curseblade enemies in the Gravesite Plains. You'll encounter one early on, just north of where you enter the Shadow Realm in Elden Ring. Head north and look for one perched atop the stone pillars. Additional Masked Curseblades can be found beneath the Church of Benediction and in the upper levels of Belurat the Tower Settlement.

How to farm Curseblade's Cirque in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree

As the weapon is a drop, it is not guaranteed. I recommend farming the Masked Curseblade just north of the Shadow Realm entrance. It is not far from a Site of Grace, allowing you to quickly rest and make it respawn. Continue to defeat it like I did until you get your hands on the Curseblade's Cirque. You can raise your Discovery stat by increasing the Arcane Attribute or using consumables, like the Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot, to increase your odds of the weapon dropping.

Curseblade's Cirque is a slashing weapon and requires 9 Strength and 22 Dexterity and scales with both attributes, though Dexterity is the better attribute for it. It can be upgraded with Smithing Stones and cannot be infused with other Ashes of War, so Rellana's Cameo is a pointless Talisman with this weapon.

Curseblade's Cirque also cannot be temporarily enchanted by magic or consumables. Instead, it relies on fast and aggressive attacks. Using your special twice can stagger big enemies which pairs well with the bleed effect. Not only is the special attack strong, but it closes the gap between you and your enemy, allowing you to quickly strike and back away. The Curseblade's Cirque complements fast aggressive attacks, but also a patient hit-and-run style. I recommend pairing it with the Greatjar.
