How to get Cursemark of Death in Elden Ring

In Elden Ring, players will come across several key items that are essential for unlocking various areas and completing NPC questlines. The Cursemark of Death is one such key item, and it is required to get the Age of Duskborn ending. Players will have to offer the Cursemark of Death to Fia to progress in her questline and fight the legendary Lichdragon Fortisaxx.

Where to find Cursemark of Death in Elden Ring?

The Cursemark of Death is located on top of the Divine Tower of Liurnia. Follow the white circle on the map image above to see the exact location for this key item. To unlock the Divine Tower of Liurnia, players will need the Carian Inverted Statue.

This item can be acquired after offering Ranni the Fingerslayer Blade as a part of her questline. The Fingerslayer Blade is located in Nokron, so defeating General Radahn is a prerequisite for this quest, as it will unlock the underground area. Once you have the Carian Inverted Statue, head to the Carian Study Hall to access the Divine Tower of Liurnia.

What is Cursemark of Death used for in Elden Ring?

The Cursemark of Death is a key item required in Fia's questline in Elden Ring. After acquiring it, head down to Deeproot Depths from Nokron, and make your way toward Prince of Death's Throne Site of Grace. Check the map image above to see the exact location. This is where players will find Fia, and you will have to defeat her three champions to interact with the NPC.

Speak with Fia and select the "No, I want to be held" dialogue option to start the conversation about a hallowbrand. Present the Cursemark of Death to the NPC during the conversation to acquire the Radiant Baldachin's Blessing. You will have to reset the area by resting at a nearby Site of Grace after this interaction with Fia to progress in the questline. Return to the NPC, and enter the Deathbed Dream to face Lichdragon Fortissax.
