In Elden Ring, players will encounter several Divine Towers to activate Great Runes after defeating demi-god bosses. The Divine Tower of West Altus is one of these locations, and it will be locked until players defeat a specific boss in the game.
To reach the Divine Tower of West Altus, players will need to defeat Rykard, the Lord of Blasphemy who is located in the Volcano Manor at Altus Plateau. Once you defeat this boss, head down to the Minor Erdtree Church at Lyndell. From here, players will have to go down the cliff on the left to reach the Sealed Tunnel, which leads to the entrance of the Divine Tower of West Altus.

How to restore Rykard's Great Rune?
Players will face the Onyx Lord boss after reaching the bottom of the Sealed Tunnel. Defeat this boss to unlock the path to the Divine Tower of West Altus. Activating and equipping Rykard's Great Rune will allow players to restore HP after attacking enemies.
After defeating Rykard, players will get his Great Rune, but it needs to be activated. While you can reach this boss without completing the Volcano Manor side quests, we recommend completing them to earn the rewards.
