Streamer reveals Messmer’s true weakness is dancing by beating him on a dance pad with no summons

It turns out Messmer cannot dance if he wants to.

Elden Ring streamers are crazy, with multiple finding strange ways to defeat bosses, and yet another has joined the ranks in Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree. Streamer Luality has defeated Messmer the Impaler, one of the most challenging bosses in the DLC, using a dance pad and without summons.

Luality shared her victory on Twitter, showcasing her skills on the dance floor and making a mockery of Messmer the Impaler. Despite a few hits and an almost bunny interruption, Luality makes quick work of the difficult boss. I can't even defeat the boss with an actual controller, so it's both a little disheartening and awe-inspiring seeing someone defeat Messmer dancing.

Luality proves she is equally as adorable as she is deadly, immediately dedicating her victory to her bunny after slaying Messmer. We even see Boo, the aforementioned bunny, nearly step onto the dance pad with Luality, almost as if blessing her and wishing her good luck. Whether Boo's interference brought about her victory or could be considered a summon is up for debate, but Luality did not need any help in-game.

With Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree DLC having released, streamers like Luality will likely be racing to find new and creative ways to beat the DLC and its challenging bosses. We've already seen someone defeat the final boss without getting hit, and now, there is a dance-off victory against Messmer, but I can't wait to see what's next.
