How to find the Savage Lion's Claw Ashes of War in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree (Location)

The Savage Lion's Claw Ashes of War is found early on in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree. It is north of the Scorched Ruins and Gravesite Plains and west of the Ellac Greatbridge. Look for a small campsite and interact with the glowing item to earn the Ashes of War Savage Lion's Claw. The Savage Lion's Claw Ashes of War is useable with swords, axes, and hammers. Small armaments and thrusting swords are an exception to this list.

Savage Lion's Claw Ashes of War Effect, Cost, and Best Builds in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree

Once equipped with a sword, axe, or hammer, the Savage Lion's Claw grants you a new ability. Tapping L2 on PS5, Left Trigger on Xbox, or Shift + LMB on PC allows you to use the Savage Lion's Claw. You launch into the air and bring your weapon down in a powerful strike. However, if you quickly tap the input again, you launch back into the air and deliver another powerful attack.

Savage Lion's Claw costs 20 (-10) FP and works best with fast weapons. The distance you close using this Ash of War lets you strike foes who are outside of your normal reach. I use the Savage Lion's Claw with the light great sword Milady or my curved swords from the base game.
