S Tier: Best characters in Elpis: Fallen Star and your top priority when rolling the gacha and spending upgrade resources.

A Tier: Very good characters that can be top-tier depending on the game mode. However, they aren't as universally good as the S-Tier characters.

B Tier: Good characters that are not the best for the endgame, but they do have niche uses or are just good early on.

C Tier: Decent characters that don't excel at anything but are viable before you get some better ones. Some also have extremely niche uses.

D Tier: Bad characters that aren't worth investing resources in at all.

Our Elpis Fallen Star tier list above ranks all characters in the game by their overall power across all game modes. Generally, higher-rarity characters are the best, though lower-rarity characters can be good, if not OP, because of the numerical values on their skills and/or passives. Darkwing	Voidblade Umbra DPS Single-Target Leader Skill Assassin Darkwing is a meta DPS who deals insane single-target damage and procs a very strong attack at the start of the battle. GhostQueen	Spellweaver Umbra DPS AoE Assassin GhostQueen is by far the most OP assassin DPS in Elpis Fallen Star. She can target two lowest-HP enemies (3 with A3 bonus) and deal insane damage. Delis	Ghosthunter Pyro DPS Stun AoE Leader Skill Assassin Delis is a DPS/CC/assassin who can stun enemies with her basic and deal high damage to two enemies with the highest ATK with her Assault Skill. Falcon	Ironclad Hydro Tank Shield Stun Hydro DoT Falcon is an extremely good tank who can apply Hydro DoT while tanking damage. Her self-shields are really good, and she can also stun enemies in a big AoE circle. She is good for both PvP and PvE, but not the best in slot.	Unyielding Soul
Saico	Spellweaver Hydro Support Heal Buff Saico is actually the best healer in Elpis Fallen Star, with extremely good AoE heals every 3 Basic Attacks. She will carry you through the story and any mode where enemies have a lot of DPS. However, in PvP and for low-DPS bosses, she isn't that good.	Resurging Oath
Nebula	Spellweaver Hydro DPS Single-Target Hex DEF Reduce Nebula is a single-target DPS who can reduce the enemy's Base Defense with her Assault Skill. She is especially strong for bosses, and is one of the best 4★ DPSs, by far.	Briliant Glow

Kuki	Ghosthunter Hydro DPS Single-Target ATK Reduce Basic Attack Kuki is a single-target DPS who can stack insane Attack Speed both from her Combat and Assault Skills. She can also reduce enemy Attack Speed, which is really good for bosses. Her downside is that she doesn't have as much DPS as other Basic Attack characters.	Valiant Spirit

Opera	Ghosthunter Dendro DPS AoE DEF Reduce Opera is a very good AoE DPS with the ability to apply a DEF Reduction effect to enemies with her Assault Skill once you unlock her Awakening 3 bonus. However, she isn't as good as Nebula or Remi when it comes to that.	Briliant Glow
Gima	Voidblade Dendro DPS Single-Target Basic Attack Dendro DoT Gima is a single-target DPS who relies on her Basic Attacks for damage. She gains stacking Basic Attack DMG on her passive and extra Attack Speed during Assault. Her single-target DPS is generally good, especially for bosses.	Valiant Spirit
Rum	Voidblade Hydro DPS Single-Target Silence Rum is a really good 4★ single-target DPS who can apply Silence both with his Basic Attacks and Assault Skill. He is fairly good for bosses and will fare well in team-based modes as well. However, against some enemies, Silence is a useless effect.	Briliant Glow
The Absolver	Voidblade Hydro DPS AoE Hydro DoT The Absolver is an AoE DPS whose Basic Attacks and Assault Skill bounce to other enemies. If you can get her Awakening 3 bonus, she can be a true menace for a 4★. However, her single-target DPS isn't that amazing.	Fervent Faith
Tequila	Ironclad Hydro Tank Single-Target Taunt Tequila is one of the few useful non-5★ tanks, mostly because of his Taunt Assault Skill. He is really tanky and is good both for PvE and PvP. However, he can't compare to GhostSamurai or Jessica in terms of utility or max stats.	Terra Blessing
Ciel	Ghosthunter Umbra DPS AoE Leader Skill Ciel is an AoE DPS who doesn't deal insane damage but has one of the best Leader Skills (+15% Crit Chance and +30% Crit DMG) in Elpis Fallen Star. She is basically a budget version of Delis.	Crimson Pact
Eclipse	Voidblade Umbra Ghosthunter Support Single-Target Eclipse is fairly weak in all aspects, except one: her Assault Skill support. She can increase other Ghosthunter members' ATK by 40% (+50% with Crimson Pact Emblem), making her the best support any Ghosthunter-heavy team can have.	Crimson Pact
Annis	Spellweaver Dendro Support Heal Annis is actually one of the best healers in Elpis Fallen Star, though she heals only 2 targets at a time, making her a bit worse than Saico. Still, she is very good to use until you get something better, and Awakening her is trivial because she is a 1★ character.	Resurging Oath

Kaguya	Ironclad Dendro Tank Single-Target Self-Heal Control Immunity Kaguya is a tank who doesn't have much going for her except that she is incredibly tanky, especially during her Assault Skill, which can always be used as it has a 20s cooldown. Arlen	Spellweaver Dendro Support Heal Invincibility Arlen is one of the worst support characters in Elpis Fallen Star early on, but once you get her Awakening bonuses, her base stats start outpacing those of low-rarity healers. She can also apply Invincibility to allies, though you'll need her at Awakening 3 to get that buff.	Resurging Oath
Aria	Ironclad Lumin Tank Single-Target DEF Reduce Aria is one of the best 4★ tanks who can heal her fellow Ironclad team members as well as reduce enemy Base Defense with her Assault Skill. She is pretty decent for bosses, though other tanks provide much more overall value.	Unyielding Soul
Kasha	Ironclad Dendro Tank Single-Target ATK Reduce Kasha is a tank who can reduce enemy Attack Speed with her Combat Skill and heal allies with her Assault Skill. She doesn't have much utility, but she is fairly tanky and useful against bosses.	Unyielding Soul
Mihal	Voidblade Pyro DPS Single-Target Spellweaver Support Mihal is a fairly decent single-target DPS who can also buff ally Spellweaver members' Attack. If you use the Ruinous Blaze emblem set with her, she can provide a great DPS increase for Spellweaver-filled teams.	Ruinous Blaze
Reppuu	Ironclad Pyro Tank Support Single-Target Heal Pyro DoT Reppuu is a pretty decent tank/support, with the ability to heal allies with her Assault Skill and to apply Pyro DoT with her Basic Attacks. Skylark	Ghosthunter Dendro DPS AoE Basic Attack Dendro DoT Skylark is a decent AoE 4★ Basic Attack character, targeting 3 enemies with her attacks and getting extra DMG from her Combat Skill and extra Attack Speed from her Assault Skill. Valessa	Ghosthunter Pyro DPS Single-Target Healing Reduce Valessa is a single-target DPS and debuffer who can reduce the enemy healing by up to 50% with her basic attacks (25% without the Awakening 3 bonus). She is pretty niche, but there are situations where she might be needed.	Briliant Glow
Robin	Ironclad Pyro Tank AoE Robin is a fairly decent tank who gains Base Defense every time she uses her 20s-cooldown Assault Skill. She is far from being as good as the other 4★ tanks, but she isn't terrible either.	Unyielding Soul
Seki	Spellweaver Pyro Support Heal Seki is one of the worst support characters in Elpis Fallen Star, though her Combat Skill is pretty useful for shorter modes such as PvP and team-based PvE. The longer a battle is, though, the less relevant her heals become.	Resurging Oath
Ophelia	Spellweaver Pyro DPS Support Single-Target ATK Reduce Ophelia is a DPS/support who can reduce the enemy's Attack Speed with her basic attacks, and buff ally Ironclad members' DMG Reduction with her Assault Skill. She isn't that good, but she has some niche uses.	Fervent Faith
Marco	Spellweaver Pyro DPS AoE Pyro DoT Basic Attack Marco is a decent early-game DPS who deals damage with her basic attacks and stacks extra stats. She gets outscaled hard by higher-rarity characters, though, so try to replace her once you get some better DPS.	Valiant Spirit

Emily	Voidblade Dendro DPS Single-Target DMG Share Emily is a relatively okay support/DPS/tank who can share the DMG she receives with the nearest allies. However, she is a Voidblade, meaning that the shared damage might not even be that useful.	Briliant Glow
Emma	Ironclad Hydro Tank Single-Target Revive Dodge Emma is a fairly weak tank who can resurrect once per battle with her Combat Skill. However, she doesn't have the stats or any other utility, making her by far the worst 4★ character in Elpis Fallen Star.	Unyielding Soul

Lulu	Ironclad Pyro Tank Single-Target Stun Lulu is a tank who can apply a 5s stun on a single enemy. The utility she has doesn't make up for the fact that she is squishy for a tank and that her damage is virtually zero.	Unyielding Soul
Jasmine	Ironclad Dendro Tank Single-Target Self-Heal Jasmine is somewhat of a decent tank early on in the game because of her self-healing. However, you don't even need a tank early on that much, making her redundant.	Unyielding Soul
Haidee	Voidblade Lumin DPS Single-Target DEF Reduce Haidee is somewhat useful because of her ability to reduce enemy Defense, but because of her low stats, she won't survive long enough to proc her skill, which has melee range. She just isn't that good.	Briliant Glow
Phinis	Voidblade Pyro DPS Single-Target Pyro DoT Phinis is a 1★ DPS and his skills don't really have any utility, making him fairly useless. There is absolutely no point in using him.	Fervent Faith
Tina	Ironclad Hydro Tank Support Stun Buff Tina is a fairly weak tank/support, and because she is a 1★, she might even be the worst character in Elpis Fallen Star. There is no reason to upgrade or use her, ever.	Unyielding Soul

Elpis Fallen Star Reroll Guide - How to Reroll Your Account

Below is a step-by-step guide with images on how to reroll your account in Elpis Fallen Star. Note that the reroll process requires an Android emulator such as MuMu player running multiple instances to make a fast reroll possible.

1. Download MuMu Player or some other Android emulator and create an instance. Log in to your Google account and make it ready for cloning.
   • IMPORTANT: This will be the "master instance" where you'll be logged in to your Google account and nothing else. You'll clone it and then use the clones to reroll.
2. Clone the master instance as many times as you want. If you have a decent PC, go with 4-6 instances, and if you have a mediocre PC, go with 2-4 instances.
3. Fire up multiple instances and download Elpis Fallen Star from the Google Play Store on all of them.
   • TIP: Check out the MuMu Player's multi-instance guide if you're using it. Search for another guide if you're using a different emulator. Make sure to synchronize them all to make the grind quicker.
   • IMPORTANT: You can try downloading the game and then cloning, but it often makes the clones unusable because you'll be logging onto the same Guest account on all of them.
4. Follow the tutorial on all the instances until you complete it and reach Story 07.
5. Collect the rewards from your Mail and the Pre-Registration Rewards.
6. Pull on the Limited banner for Lingyao, GhostSamurai, and Darkwing and on the Permanent banner for Ivorywing and Delis.
   • IMPORTANT: DO NOT PULL ON THE STARTER BANNER. You will do that later, after you've gotten a good reroll.
7. If the reroll is bad, delete the cloned instances and create a new batch to reroll on.
8. Keep repeating the whole process until you get a good reroll.
9. Once you have a good reroll, bind the account to an email/Google/Facebook to save the data.

The four best characters you can get as you reroll are Lingyao, GhostSamurai, Ivorywing, and Darkwing. Delis, Freya, Timmy, and Jessica are decent options, but not the best possible outcome. All other characters are suboptimal, with Arlen, Vee, and Kaguya being by far the worst things you can get.
