How to craft a Grappling Hook in Enshrouded

To craft a Grappling Hook in Enshrouded, you must collect four metal scraps, seven strings, and ten shrouded spores. After collecting all of the required resources, you must craft the Grappling Hook inside a workbench. You can craft a workbench in Enshrouded with three string and eight wood logs. 

Where to find metal scrap in Enshrouded

Metal scrap is an early-game resource you can harvest by going to locations such as Longkeep and breaking boxes, pots, etc. You can also harvest metal scrap—usually from any object that appears to have metal. For example, a wood wall or fence with metal reinforcing tends to drop metal scrap when broken. Metal objects are also a safe bet for getting metal scraps. Enemies found at the Ancient Vault can also drop metal scrap.

How to craft string in Enshrouded

To craft string in Enshrouded, you need to collect plant fiber, which you can collect from small bushes. You can find these bushes all over in grassy areas. 

How to get shrouded spores in Enshrouded

You can get shrouded spores in Enshrouded by defeating shrouded enemies found within the shroud. The best way to get shrouded spores early is to farm the enemies near Longkeep. You can also find shrouded areas by the fog shown on the map.

How to use the Grappling Hook in Enshrouded

The grappling hook is an item similar to the Glider that can help you to climb and reach large distances. To use the grappling hook in Enshrouded, you must find a metal hook interaction point. You can find these points where you can use the grappling hook in elevated areas.

When you find a location where you can use the Grappling hook, you will see a message that says a grappling hook is required to cross. To use the grappling hook, equip it by entering your inventory, selecting the item, and then the equip option.
