Pine Studio developed and published Escape Simulator, which puts you in various escape rooms. The goal is to solve puzzles and discover a way to exit the room, thus completing the objective. But as you do so, you can discover secret tokens. This may leave you wondering what tokens do in Escape Simulator.
The answer is nothing, really. Tokens are added to the game as a hidden collectible. They are merely there for achievements and a sense of satisfaction, but they do not actually do anything in-game, such as unlock content. This means tokens are totally optional and do not need to be collected.

That being said, if you want to get the achievements or are a completionist, you will need to collect all the secret tokens. These are hidden throughout levels, and a majority are extremely difficult to find.
