All Exoprimal Classes, Explained

Which role will you fit in?

We are learning more and more about everything we can expect in Capcom's new Exoprimal experience the closer we get to launch, and from the looks of it, they are going to have one of my favorite features. I always appreciate diverse classes for characters, allowing you to have unique abilities and help your team in the best way possible, and Exoprimal is going to include just that. Players will be able to collaborate as varying classes, such as Assault, Tank, and Support, making the ultimate team comp. Take a closer look at each class and their variants below!

All Exosuits Roles in Exoprimal

Your class or role is determined by the type of Exosuit you equip in-game. These Exosuits are separated into three different fields: Assault, Tank, and Support. Each role has unique characteristics that can balance the team and help you succeed. Each Exosuit field also has variants, changing up what gear and abilities you have available. You are not limited to being in one role the whole time. In fact, you can change out your Exosuit to a different class at any time during the game, including in battle. Here's a look at all the class roles and variants:

Assault

The Assault role is the all-out soldier class. They focus solely on dealing the most damage possible for their team with close, medium, and long-range attacks. The types of weapons they use are important to their success and are interchangeable with Rigs to match their effective combat range. They come in the following default suits: Deadeye, Zephyr, Barrage, and Vigilant.

Tank

Tanks serve as the team's first line of defense. These Exosuits are usually the largest and strongest of the bunch, allowing them to absorb as much damage as they can and draw all the enemies to them to keep their team safe. They include the following default suits: Roadblock, Murasame, and Krieger.

  • MURASAME a: Frost Glaive
  • KRIEGER a: Charge Shotgun

Support

While Support roles are usually most focused on healing and keeping their teammate alive, they are also geared with all kinds of other useful abilities that buff their allies, debuff enemies, and make it easier to complete objectives. They have the following default suits: Witchdoctor, Skywave, and Nimbus.

You can switch up your Exosuit at any time, allowing you to try out each role and assist your team as needed. Not only that, but you can also switch out your Rigs, creating your own unique Exosuit variants. Keep a look out for any more variants and suits that may be added in the future!
