Fable – Release date, platforms, game pass, & more!

At last, in-game footage of the fabled Fable has finally been shown, and it looks rather impressive. The trailer we were treated to showed that Microsoft understood what made the original Fable so beloved. Here's everything we know about Fable.

What is Fable's Release date?

While no release date was shown, we don't expect to be waiting too long for an announcement. I predict winter 2024 for Fable for the release. Even though in-game footage was shown, and boy, did it look fantastic, not much else is known about the upcoming title. I believe Fable is just a placeholder until they give us the proper name in time, but I may be wrong! But I imagine we'll get a date the next time the game is shown off. We'll keep you posted.

What platforms is Fable being released on?

Going by Microsoft's track record over the last few years, expect Fable to be a PC and Xbox series exclusive. Sorry Playstation owners, I wouldn't get your hopes on this one. As I just mentioned, Microsoft usually doesn't release outside of its own console market.

Will Fable be coming to Xbox Game Pass?

While not officially announced, Xbox has been offering its new titles on Game Pass for quite a few years. I'd say it is highly likely for that to be the case for Fable as well. Xbox Game Pass has been a bargain for a long time, and if it does end up being available there, we'll be the first to let you know with a speedy update.
