How to select a primary profile in Fall Guys for your Epic Games Account

Cross-progression has been a big want for Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout players for a long time, and with the introduction of Epic Games Accounts to the game for Season 6, it is finally possible. For players who only play on one platform and want to give another a try, that is great news. That said, there is no way to seamlessly merge two accounts together if you actively play on both platforms, so you will need to choose which account you want to keep fully intact.

Choosing a Primary Profile

You will generally want to choose the account you have more hours on, or more unlocks in. The good thing is, it is 100% your choice which platform you want to choose as your primary profile. The way you make this choice is simply by linking that Fall Guys account to your Epic Games Account. Whichever account you link first will be the primary account, and now be stored in the cloud. If you do not have an Epic Games Account, you will need to make one.

Working with Player Support

Once your primary profile is selected, whichever platform you link to your Epic Games Account next will have its data overwritten by the primary profile. The one exception to this is if you have purchased DLC across two platforms. If you contact the Player Support team, they can restore any DLC purchases from the account that was merged over by the primary account.

Player Support can also help you if you link the wrong primary account, but haven’t linked the second account yet. They can switch the account that is linked to another account, however, they are only able to do this one time, so be sure that you are making the right change if you do this.

Multiple Primary Profiles

Because Fall Guys Season 6 requires an Epic Games Account, if you do not want to merge your accounts, you would need to make a second Epic Games Account for your other file, and have two separate primary profiles across two accounts. We do not recommend this for most casual players, that said, the option is there for anyone who wants it.
