If you have been playing Fallout for any time at all, you have probably heard of Nuka-World On Tour. This location was originally seen in Fallout 4 and was added to Fallout 76 during the 14th major update. This wandering carnival introduces a place where players could go and blow off some steam in the dreary Ash Heap area of the map. Here's where to find Nuka-World On Tour in Fallout 76
Nuka-World On Tour's Location in Fallout 76
While Nuka-World On Tour is marketed as a wandering carnival, it will actually remain in the same place in the Ash Heap region on the map. You can find it in the same place that is circled on the map above, which is found next to Lewisburg. The area is marked by a Nuka-Cola bottle, making it extremely easy to find since it is the only symbol like that on the map.
Activities to do at Nuka-World On Tour in Fallout 76
The carnival has a ton of things for players to do, despite being in the middle of nowhere and being rundown. The Nuka-Cade is an arcade in the middle of the carnival that takes bottle caps as coins to play the games. You can play a few different shooting games, a version of Whack-A-Mole, and a strength tester. After trying your hand at these games, you will earn points which can then be used to get amazing prizes such as new weapons, armor, apparel, food, or even ammo.
Once you're done at the Nuka-Cade, you can play the many other games around the grounds. Some games will allow you to pop balloons, get your fortune read, or even pretend to be an outlaw. While these games won't give you Nuka-Cade points, you can still have a ton of fun playing them.
You can also purchase most variants of Nuka-Cola at the Nuka-World On Tour. Here is a list of the ones for sale and what they do.
- Nuka-Cola: Restores 40 HP and 10 AP
- Nuka-Cherry: Restores 100 HP and 25 AP
- Nuka-Cola Cranberry: Restores 40 HP and gives a temporary bonus to EXP gained
- Nuka-Cola Dark: -1 Perception, +1 Strength, +1 Endurance
- Nuka-Grape: Restores 100 HP and 50 AP, reduces Rads by 400
- Nuka-Cola Orange: Restores 150 HP and 50 AP, +25% Rad Resistance
- Nuka-Cola Quantum: Restores 200 HP and 100 AP
- Nuka-Cola Wild: Restores 40 HP and 25 AP
- Nuka-Cola Twist: Applies a random positive benefit for 10 minutes
The area also has merchants, all types of crafting stations, access to your personal stash, an ammo stash for Fallout 1st members, and a Legendary Exchange Machine. Even if you don't plan to play the games, this area is worth traveling to.
How to beat Ultracite Titan
The biggest attraction at Nuka-World On Tour is the quest "What Slept Beneath," which allows players to unlock the region's boss, the Ultracite Titan. Once you finish the quest, you can launch a nuke at the mineshaft by using the Appalachian Automated Launch System, causing the boss to awaken. It is recommended that you be around level 50 for this, but the boss does scale down. However, it is very difficult to solo the boss, even with a high-level character.
If you are determined to take on this difficult boss, here are some tips to help you out:
- Bring melee weapons to the battle, as you will need to destroy Ultracite Crystals. These can only be destroyed with melee weapons. I assigned one to a 'Favorite' slot so I could quickly switch between it and a ranged weapon during the fight without having to go through my Pip-Boy.
- This battle has four phases, and each phase must be completed in three and a half minutes, so you need to be prepared going in.
- Do not ignore the Ultracite Crystals; they are key to ensuring that the boss stays vulnerable and moves to the next area.
- You will have Mole Rats and Mole Miners attacking you throughout each phase. They don't have too much health, so focus on clearing these out as soon as they appear to ensure they don't overwhelm you. They're annoying on their own, but can quickly whittle away your health when there's a group of them.
- The boss is highly resistant to all damage types, so it is really up to you what you use to defeat him.
