Fallout London: Platforms, Price, Voice Actors & More

Really looking forward to the addon for this DLC in 'Fallout Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch'.

Fallout London is the total conversion of Fallout 4 we've all been waiting for, and it's quite the experience so far. Here I'll be breaking down the platforms, price, voice actors and other details you might want to know about before diving in.

Can you play Fallout London on Xbox or PS5?

Fallout London is only available to play on PC, either through Steam or GOG Galaxy. Due to the absolutely ludicrous size of the mod (roughly 6GB smaller than the Game of the Year edition of Fallout 4), hosting on Nexus (the usual place you'd expect mods to be hosted) is a no go, which means it had to be hosted through GOG. And due to the use of Fallout 4 script extender, as well as some very big core changes to the base game files, this mod cannot be used on the Xbox version of the game either. (The Playstation version doesn't even allow custom assets, so that's a definite no in this case.)

Is Fallout London free?

Fallout London, despite being virtually as big a game as Fallout 4 itself, is totally free. You can get it for yourself by heading to the GOG page for the mod and downloading it either directly through GOG Galaxy, or manually if you need a bit more control on where everything ends up.

How big is the Fallout London map?

The map for Fallout London is described by the FOLON team as being about as big as the base game map, combined with the map for the Far Harbor DLC. However, whilst the base game might have miles and miles of that Massachusetts muck, here you're subject to a predominantly urban environment, which means heaps more locations to pick your way through.

All Fallout London factions

There's a bunch of factions roaming about the miserable streets of this not-too-dissimilar-to-modern-day version of post apocalyptic London, and some of them are... interesting to say the least.

The Gentry

Described as a... 'Feudal Aristocratic Hegemony', a combination of words that makes me sick to my stomach, these folks are attempting to restore the U.K to its former glory, but aren't doing a very good job of it. Protection rackets, a bad attitude, and limited power (surely not a commentary on our current parlimentary system).

The Tommies

Started as a well intentioned militia of wannabe protectors, the Tommies quickly became the primary tools of the Gentry. Well armed, misinformed, but perhaps not beyond saving.

Facists. These guys are facists. They intend to burn it all down so that it can all be rebuilt in the name and glory of their leader, Eve Varney. However, this doesn't mean they aren't a force to be concerned about, as their popularity has been growing in the lower ranks of London society in recent days. A concerning faction to say the least.

Camelot

Finally, some good guys. Camelot are the scrappy underdogs of this new world, working in the shadows to attempt to wrench control away from the Gentry and return every Briton to a state of freedom. Inspired by both WWII commandos as much as their namesakes of Knights of the Roundtable, they seek to learn from history and elevate themselves above it.

Isle of Dogs Syndicate

The Isle of Dogs syndicate are your classic clean on the outside, dirty on the inside London mobsters. Wealthy, respectable, but ultimately a bunch of rotters. Currently they suffer somewhat under Gentry rule, who allow their existence in exchange for hefty tithes, so whilst currently stuck, they might be somewhat open to a change in leadership.

Vagabonds

The Vagabonds are the direct enemies of the Isle of Dogs Syndicate, and exist only in efforts to punish them for their act of killing the Vagabonds former leader. Before their new motive however, these guys were trying to be the next big criminal faction, but with a slightly softer heart than that of the Isle of Dogs syndicate. Less about intimidation and more about action, but for now at least, ultimately misguided.

Angel

Angel is the big bad in the shadows, the Big Brother of this new London... if you're inclined to believe they even exist. Operating as somewhat of a boogeyman in London, what Angel exactly are is still a bit of a mystery. Some say the rule London, some say they don't exist, but perhaps the truth will all come to light.
