The only way you can gather this specific data is to scan those Grasslands Mako Lifesprings. Don’t worry about their locations, as they’ll gradually appear on your map with every Tower scan. The icon looks like what I’ve hovered over below.
At some point, Chadley will let you know he has enough data to mark a nearby Quetzalcoatl nest. That’s in this location.
The Quetzalcoatl is a powerful foe you shouldn’t challenge until you’ve at least finished the events in Mythril Mine. There’s also less struggle if you manage to bump your level to 20 on Easy/Normal. The Quetzalcoatl Talon will drop, but you can also Steal it for a double copy!
This foe is a powerful, yet slow moving bird. It’s weak to Ice. Bring Barret with you so you can deal with it when it flies.
