Obtaining the Lynx of Righteous Fire mount in FFXIV

The Lynx of Righteous Fire mount is obtained from the Lynx of Righteous Fire Flute, a rare drop from the Mount Ordeals (Extreme). The flute is rare and isn’t guaranteed to drop every fight. As a result, you’ll need to grind it out, and roll against other players to attempt to obtain the Flute.

At some point in the future, it’s expected that the Lynx of Righteous Fire will become obtainable by repeated runs of Mount Ordeals (Extreme). This has been the case with all previous Extreme mounts. However, this is usually an end of expansion update that allows for this.

There are currently five Lynx mounts in the game, The Bluefeather Lynx, Lynx of Divine Light, Lynx of Eternal Darkness, Lynx of Imperious Wind, and most recently, Lynx of Righteous Fire. It’s expected that by the end of Endwalker, there’ll be eight in total, matching the other Extreme Trial mounts.
