It brings many new features, items, weapons, events, and more to the title. This includes the Sil'dihn Subterrane Variant Dungeon. This may leave you wondering how to unlock the Sil'dihn Subterrane Variant Dungeon in Final Fantasy XIV.

How to access The Sil'dihn Subterrane Variant Dungeon in FFXIV

To unlock the Sild'dihn Subterrane Variant Dungeon in FFXIV, you must travel to Old Sharlayan. First, speak with Osmon, located at the coordinates X: 11.9, Y: 13.3. After speaking with Osmon, another NPC will appear named Shallow Moor. Speak with this NPC to gain the quest, A Key to the Past. You must complete this to access the Sild'dihn Subterrane Variant Dungeon in Final Fantasy XIV.

In addition to completing the A Key to the Past quest, there is a prerequisite of having completed the Main Scenario quest in Endwalker. If you have not done this, you will not be able to access the Sil'dihn Subterrane Variant Dungeon.

Variant dungeons are different from normal dungeons, as they offer branching paths that explore the lore of that dungeon. There are also various rewards you can get from these variant dungeons. Additionally, you are free to complete these with smaller party numbers and are not locked to the standard four-player party.
