While the core of the game will center around the chapters and the battles within, you will also be able to enjoy smaller-scale skirmishes. These are great for farming experience, which may leave you wondering how to farm skirmishes in Fire Emblem Engage.

Fire Emblem Engage – How to farm Skirmishes

To farm skirmishes in Fire Emblem Engage, you will have to mess with your settings, particularly that of the Nintendo Switch system's time. Through this method, you can force skirmishes to appear and continually farm them for their benefits and rewards. Here is how to farm Fire Emblem Engage skirmishes.

  • Go to System Settings from the Nintendo Switch Home Screen.
  • Select System.
  • Choose Date and Time.
  • Disable Synchronize Clock via the Internet.
  • Manually adjust the time one hour ahead.

Once you have completed this, return to Fire Emblem Engage and go to the world map. You will see that more skirmishes have appeared. Defeat all skirmishes and then repeat the process above. You can do this as many times as you want and essentially super-train your units. This may make the game easier, but it can be helpful on harder difficulties.

There are four main types of skirmishes in Fire Emblem Engage. These offer different rewards depending on which you encounter, but you primarily want Gold or Silver Corrupted. Standard and Training are still worth completing as well. Here are all skirmishes in Fire Emblem Engage.
