There are plenty of unsettling mysteries to discover in Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit, from hidden mini-games to unlockable endings and dozens of achievements. Here's our handy walkthrough to help you conquer the horrors of a haunted pizzeria.

FNAF Into the Pit Walkthrough - Days 1-5
Disclaimer: There is a warning that strongly advises anyone with epilepsy or photosensitivity to refrain from playing the game due to the game's frequent use of rapidly flashing lights/colors.
Side Note: This specific walkthrough is done via Creepy difficulty. Your personal experience may differ depending on the difficulty you choose.
The game begins with a sequence of cutscenes between a young boy named Oswald and his father, who for the sake of the game is just called "Dad". As his dad searches for a new job, Oswald is soon dropped off at Jeff's Pizzeria, a noticeably run-down pizza joint with cheap food and little to do due to lack of business.
Hours pass and Oswald notices that his dad is running late picking him up. While eating he overhears kids at a nearby table talking about how the pizzeria used to be the hottest hangout in town, and that it just hasn't been the same, particularly since something that happened at the roped-off ball pit. With that, Oswald decides to go explore and the first objective of the game is to "Look for the Ball Pit".
Use the Map feature (press "M") to get your bearings, and the Ball Pit room is found to the left of the Backstage area, through a door right off the stage. Head inside, and Oswald finds a neglected room full of debris and the abandoned ball pit. Oswald decides to hide in there to surprise his dad, and it turns out that the ball pit itself is a portal to none other than Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, what the place used to be before Jeff took over.
Crawl out of the ball pit and make your way through the room which is filled with partying kids. Head out the door to the Dining Area, where Freddy, Chica, and Bonnie can be seen performing on stage to music. Head left to meet two kids - Mike and Chip. They offer to show Oswald around, including the Arcade room. A brief skeeball mini-game will happen (called "Pizza Roller"), and you don't need to worry about getting a perfect score here.
After that, Mike and Chip will challenge Oswald first to a game of tag (outcome doesn't matter), then to a game of hide and seek. Your only option for this is to head for the room past the Arcade that contains the Golden Freddy suit.
Oswald notices that the nearby calendar says 1985, which is in the past. After crawling inside the suit, Chip will run in and hide in the nearby vent. Mike soon finds him thanks to his heavy breathing and the two set out to find him. The power to the whole building then suddenly goes out, and a QTE begins from inside the Golden Freddy mask.
Spring Bonnie will walk by and you need to hold your breath (hold "Space") until he leaves. Afterward, screams will erupt from elsewhere in the building. A cutscene plays with parents and kids fleeing the pizzeria from an unknown threat. Oswald sets out to find Mike and Chip among the chaos.
Head for the entrance where more kids can be seen escaping in terror. Head to the Dining Area, where Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica can be seen visibly malfunctioning on stage. Go through the Employee door that's ajar (leads to the Party Hallway), and a cutscene with Spring Bonnie will ensue. He coerces Oswald to follow him somewhere.
As instructed, "follow the creature" by heading left down the Party Hallway. Open the door to the Party Room, and another QTE will happen where Spring Bonnie attempts to attack Oswald. Hit "Space" to deflect him and your next objective is to "escape". To do this, run all the way back to the Ball Pit room and jump into the pit to escape back to Jeff's Pizza, in present time.
Escape back to Jeff's Pizza - Day 1
Jeff and Dad are in the room looking for him, and Oswald's dad approaches him, and asks him if he's okay. Just as they reunite, Spring Bonnie jumpscares and lunges at Dad, pulling him back into the ball pit. Another brief QTE happens where Oswald needs to pull his dad back out. After doing so, Oswald realizes something has happened to him as his eyes glow. It turns out that Oswald's dad has been possessed by Spring Bonnie.
Deceptively resembling Spring Bonnie at this point, he drags Oswald back home. Oswald retreats to his bedroom, where he decides he needs to call his Mom via his dad's phone to tell her what's happening. After the objective updates, head for the Master Bedroom (check the map to see the house's layout), where Spring Bonnie can be seen lying on the bed.
To make it safe for Oswald to reach his dad's phone, he'll first need to distract Spring Bonnie from the bedroom to another area of the house. This can be done with interactable objects in each room that display a bell symbol, indicating they make noise. Also, make note of your "noise meter" on the bottom right corner of the screen.
This is also a great time to look for potential hiding places and for Batteries scattered around the house, as you'll need them for the Flashlight you eventually get as well as some of the interactable objects, though the latter isn't necessarily required. Also, go and grab the Rope from the Basement. You can also find the Weight Resistance Mechanism, which is used to repair the Heftin With Helpules Arcade Cabinet at the Pizzeria.
Find your Mom's phone number taped to the fridge in the Kitchen, and then figure out which object you want to use to distract Spring Bonnie away from the Master Bedroom. We opted to use the TV in the Living Room, on the furthest opposite side of the house and hid under the Dining Room table next door until he passed by.
Run to the Master Bedroom and pick up Dad's phone on the right side of the bed and call Mom's number. She'll say she's on her way home, however, the call has generated a lot of noise which will attract Spring Bonnie's attention. Hide under the bed right next to you until Spring Bonnie leaves the room.
Afterward, head to the Living Room where Oswald's mom will be waiting. A cutscene ensues where his mom doesn't realize that Dad is possessed, and assumes it's a prank. Oswald is then sent back to his room, where he decides he needs to get back to the Ball Pit to save his dad. However, there's the issue of escaping the house with Spring Bonnie lurking about.
All ways to escape the house in FNAF: Into the Pit
There are actually multiple methods you can use to escape the house each day, but for now, the only practical way is straight out the front door when Spring Bonnie is well out of the way. Other methods you can use later include:
- Oswald's Bedroom Window - Requires the Screwdriver (found in the Basement at Freddy Fazbear's)
- Attic Window - Requires the Rope (found in the Basement of Oswald's House)
- Basement Window - Requires the Ladder (found in the Attic of Oswald's House)
However, be aware that once a method is used once, Spring Bonnie will discover it and that method will be unusable afterward (e.g. - the bedroom window will be boarded up or the front door will be locked).
Head back to the Pizzeria and into the ball pit once more. Once on the other side, Oswald will hear a kid crying for help. Go to investigate it, in the Dining Area a kid can be seen trapped inside a metal animatronic endoskeleton. To get him out, you'll need a Screwdriver. Head to the Backstage area nearby. Make note of the Fuse Box here, as you'll be using it a lot when the power goes out. Also, be sure to pick up Dad's Wallet, one of the five key items for the game's best endings.
How to get the Screwdriver in FNAF: Into the Pit
The Screwdriver is in the Basement room, which is currently locked. Head back to Jeff's Pizza to find the key to unlock it. Talk to Jeff in the Entrance area and he'll ask you to take a bag of trash to the nearby Mill in exchange for the key.
While at the Mill, be sure to pick up various important items such as the Puzzle Matrix (Arcade Part), another Battery, and the Rat Trap. Drop the trash off and head back to the Pizzeria. Talk to Jeff and he'll give you the Basement Key.
Head back there to unlock the door, and head inside. The Screwdriver, which is bright green, will be hanging up on a rack behind the deconstructed Freddy animatronic. Grab it and run back to the Crying Kid in the endoskeleton. Use the Screwdriver to free him, and after hearing scary noises he opts to escape on his own. Spring Bonnie will appear from the Party Hallway door, and you'll need to quickly escape back through the Ball Pit.
Oswald's House & School - Day 2
Head back home to come up with a plan to save Dad and Day 2 will begin. Make sure to pet Oswald's cat Jinx while it's on the bed for the "Don't Jinx Yourself" achievement. Head to the Kitchen to meet Mom, who will tell you that Dad wants to eat breakfast with you. Head into the Dining Room, where Spring Bonnie will be sitting. After an awkward cutscene, grab your Lunch from the Kitchen and then head to the School.
Once at the Playground, watch the cutscene with Jet and the Firecrackers play out, and Oswald will wonder if he has anymore that he could use. Grab the spare Battery from the green backpack on the bench before heading inside.
After class ends for the day, head out to the Hallway to find Jet. However, first detour to the other classroom and grab the Voucher Validator (Arcade Part) lying the floor. Head back to the Hallway and Jet will be standing by the lockers (wearing a green shirt). He offers to trade a set of Firecrackers for something "he can't get anywhere else" at the Library after school. Afterward, grab another spare Battery from the lockers behind him.
Head outside and talk to a student named Gabrielle. She'll eventually give you an old sketchbook from her uncle that contains some interesting doodles and notes about the animatronics that can provide hints for later. Head back home and Spring Bonnie will burst through the front door. Oswald automatically flees to his bedroom and Night 2 starts.
Oswald's House & Pizzeria - Night 2
You'll need to escape the house again, and this time the front door is off-limits (remember one use per method). This time, you can use the Screwdriver you got earlier to escape out the bedroom window.
Head back to Jeff's Pizza. Before you jump back into the Ball Pit, first head to the Arcade Room and use the Arcade Parts you've gotten so far to repair their respective machines. This will make them playable, and we suggest getting a head start by playing them now and getting some tickets, as you'll need them to get an important item from the Prize Machine later (once both that and the Ticket Machine are repaired). Afterward, head to the Ball Pit and back to Freddy Fazbear's.
As soon as you get there, the power will go out. Head to the Backstage area where you found the Fuse Box and turn it back on. You'll hear another kid cry out while in the Dining Area and Spring Bonnie will come to stalk the area since the power was switched on. Wait for him to leave and look for the kid.
Head through the door to the Party Hallway and then to the Kitchen door. A cutscene will play, revealing Chica who bursts through the door. Oswald flees the other direction, and at one point trips and drops his Lunch Bag. Chica runs over and picks it up, oblivious to Oswald and places it in the nearby pile (her "nest") before leaving.
How to distract Jeff and get the Pizza in FNAF: Into the Pit
Oswald realizes he needs to get more food to act as bait for Chica so he can get into the Kitchen. Evade Spring Bonnie and head back through the Ball Pit to talk to Jeff about borrowing some Pizza. He says he can't just give it away, so you'll need to find a way to distract him from the Kitchen to get it.
Head back through the Ball Pit again to Freddy's, and back to the Party Hallway where you last saw a rat scurrying into a broken vent. Use the Rat Trap you got from the Mill underneath the vent to lure it out. Leave the room and come back (when it's safe), and the rat will be caught in the trap. Grab it and head back to Jeff's Pizza.
Go over to the lady sitting at a table in the Dining Area, who's been conveniently been complaining about possible rats in the restaurant, and let the rat loose. She'll freak out and Jeff will run over to try and kill it. Use the opportunity to run into the Kitchen to grab a Slice of Pizza from the counter. Also, grab another spare Battery from there too.
Head back to Freddy's, and your goal now is to bait Chica with the Slice of Pizza long enough to get into the Kitchen. Upon running into the Party Hallway, the power will go out again. Go and turn it back on Backstage before heading back to your objective. Remember that each time you do this it will alert Spring Bonnie, so be sure to hide when needed.
Once Chica is distracted (she will not be aggressive this time, even when she sees you), run into the Kitchen. The phone on the wall nearby will ring, and you can answer it to get a funny easter egg and the "Hello? Hello? Hello?" achievement.
Find the trapped kid hiding in a cabinet, who turns out to be Mike. He suggests fleeing through the front entrance, but Oswald insists he needs to look for his dad. Your choice here is entirely optional, but if you leave now you'll get the "See Ya, Dad" secret ending and achievement.
If and when you choose to stay, follow the kid to the entrance but DO NOT LEAVE. Spring Bonnie will burst out from the nearby doors and a QTE will happen where you need to break free and escape back to Jeff's Pizza. From there, head back home and Day 3 will start.
Oswald's House & School - Day 3
Spring Bonnie of course continues to lurk around the house, so you'll need to keep avoiding him while you search for Mom. Head down to the Living Room where Mom and possessed Dad will be waiting. After some dialogue, head to School.
A cutscene with Oswald's friend Dylan will play, and Dylan will prank him with a Stretchy Hand toy (will be important later) until their teacher Mrs. Meecham breaks them up and confiscates the toy. Oswald heads to class, where he hallucinates seeing Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, and Spring Bonnie in the classroom. Mrs. Meecham sends Oswald on an errand to the Principal's office to retrieve a book.
The Principal herself will be standing outside the office, apparently having lost her key to get in. She sends Oswald to find it. Head to the second classroom next to Mrs. Meechum's and the Key to the Principal's Office will be lying on the ground, in the same place where the Voucher Validator was.
Return the keys to the Principal and she'll open the door for you before heading to the cafeteria for other business. Head inside and Mrs. Meechum's book will be sitting on top of the desk. Grab it and Oswald will notice Dylan's Stretchy Hand toy there as well. Take it and head back to class. After another cutscene school will let out. Night 3 will then begin.
Oswald's House & Pizzeria - Night 3
Spring Bonnie will once again be stalking the house, so Oswald needs to find another escape route. This time, head up to the Attic and use the Rope obtained earlier in the game to rappel down and out. Also don't forget to grab another Battery while in there.
Head back to the Pizzeria and to the Ball Pit. Once back at Freddy Fazbear's, your new objective will be to get to the Arcade, where Oswald suspects his dad is being kept. Before doing that though, you should first go get two more of Dad's Items that are available during Night 3. In this case, the Photo of Oswald found in the Golden Freddy suit room (Storage), and the Family Vacation Photo, which is on the wall in the Kitchen.
How to get the Arcade Key in FNAF: Into the Pit
Be aware that both Spring Bonnie and Chica are now patrolling the pizzeria, and rather than attack, Chica's purpose is to sound the alarm and reveal your position, so be mindful of your hiding spots. There's a huge metal endoskeleton blocking the Entrance route to the Arcade, and the door via the Party Hallway is locked, so you'll need to find a key for it.
Head to the Kitchen to also answer the next phone call if you want and grab the Family Vacation Photo, then go back down the Dining Area to Pirate's Cove to pick up the Ticket Counter (Arcade Part). Head through the nearby door to the Entrance. A large animatronic endoskeleton will be blocking the way to the Arcade, so you'll need to find a different route.
Go inside the nearby vent shaft (also feel free to "boop" the nose on the Freddy cutout nearby for the "Honk! Honk!" achievement) to flank around to the Storage Room. Grab Oswald's Photo (lying on the ground by the pile of present boxes) and then head back through the vent shaft to the Entrance.
Make your way carefully to the Party Hallway and when the coast is clear, use the Stretchy Hand toy on the broken vent where something shiny is glinting. Retrieve it and it will be the Key to the Arcade. Spring Bonnie will be alerted so dart back to the vent shaft. A QTE event where you have to swat away spiders will transpire. Once it's over, use the key to get into the Arcade.
Once inside, you'll find Bonnie messing with one of the arcade cabinets, and they will be quickly alerted to your presence. Oswald will automatically flee back to the Storage Room, and now the plan is to figure out how to distract Bonnie away from the Arcade. Head back towards the Dining Area and head for Backstage. When you approach it, however, Spring Bonnie will burst out from the curtain and chase you.
Run and duck under a table on the far side of the room and wait him out. DO NOT attempt to outwit him by jumping into the Ball Pit and back, as he'll be waiting for you right next to the pit and it will be a Game Over (we tried this). Make a break for Backstage when possible, and Spring Bonnie will chase after you again. Go into the Basement area and hide in the storage chest in the back. Deal with the spider QTE while inside and get out when Spring Bonnie leaves.
How to lure Bonnie from the Arcade in FNAF: Into the Pit
Go back to the Backstage area and examine Bonnie's guitar. It will be key to distracting the animatronic, but its strings are broken, so you'll need to find replacements. Oswald mentions "garbage", so it's time to go back to the Mill.
A spiral of discarded Guitar String will be lying on the pile of trash on the right side. Pick it up and Dylan will surprise Oswald out of nowhere, taking his picture and remarking about finding him wandering around late at night. Leave the Mill and head back to the Pizzeria.
Go to the Backstage area in Freddy's, and use the Guitar String to repair Bonnie's guitar, which will then be added to your inventory. Head out to the stage, plug the guitar into the amp, and start playing it to lure Bonnie over. As expected, Bonnie will make a beeline for the stage, and you'll need to drop the guitar and escape back to the Basement.
Once there, crawl into the vent shaft at the back of the room. Once inside, a unique QTE will start where you have to break free of Bonnie's grasp on your leg. Go through the vent which will take you back to the Party Hallway. From there, run to the door that takes you to the Arcade.
Run over to the kid tied up to the hammer arcade machine, and free him. This time it's Chip, and he suggests they escape when Dad's scream is heard. Before they can get out, Freddy appears at the doorway while Spring Bonnie blocks the other route.
The only way out is to the Storage Room to the right. From there, head down into the Party Hallway where Chica will sound the alarm. Flee into the Ball Pit and Oswald vows to still find his dad. Day 4 begins.
Oswald's House, School, Library, and Pizzeria - Day 4
Waking up back at home, leave the house and head to School. There Oswald will be confronted by Dylan and a bunch of other kids about him going to the Mill at night. As they laugh, Oswald has another hallucination and he knocks Dylan down in the middle of it. Flee the school before Oswald gets in trouble and head straight for the Pizzeria.
Go back through the Ball Pit and once back at Freddy Fazbear's, another child's scream can be heard, meaning another needs to be rescued. Make your way safely to the Storage Room and go try the door to the Security Office. A cutscene will play, and Freddy's head will burst through the doorway. He won't chase you, however. Rather, Oswald must find a way to lure him away from the Security Office, as he seems to be guarding the trapped child.
How to lure Freddy from the Security Office in FNAF: Into the Pit
For now, head to the Arcade and, if you have tokens on hand (if not, you'll need as many as you can get), play a few of the games available until you get enough tickets to exchange at the ticket machine (make sure it's repaired) for a Voucher. Take the voucher to the Prize Machine (make sure that's repaired by now as well!) and you'll receive a Handheld Gaming Device.
Now, escape through the Ball Pit and leave Jeff's Pizza to head to the Library. Here you can meet Jet who's conveniently standing outside the building to trade him the Handheld Gaming Device for Firecrackers, as those will work for Freddy's weakness (bright lights; indicated in the sketchbook received from Gabrielle).
Gabrielle will come out to say hello, before Oswald's dad/Spring Bonnie appears and drags Oswald back home. Night 4 begins.
Oswald's House & Pizzeria - Night 4
Time to find yet another way to escape. This method will be tricky and dangerous, as Oswald will need the Ladder in the Attic to escape via the window in the Basement. Head up to the Attic to collect the Ladder, but be aware that transporting it is very noisy, so evading Spring Bonnie while getting to the Basement will be a challenge.
Once you've made it, quickly place the ladder and escape out the window. Once free, head back to Jeff's Pizza and through the Ball Pit. The animatronics will be patrolling more frequently now, so tread carefully. Be sure to grab Dad's Name Tag from the Storage Room first (sitting on table on bottom right side), as it's now available. Then make your way back to the Security Room and attempt to enter again.
As Freddy comes out, Oswald will automatically place the lit Firecrackers on the floor and as they explode Freddy will begin to malfunction. Use that chance to run into the Security Office. Once inside, find one last Dad Item (Wedding Ring) and help the trapped girl. She's too scared to move and tells you to check the cameras.
Go over to the console and do so, and upon inspecting one of them Spring Bonnie will lunge at the camera and destroy it (just like in FNAF 3). The girl is still too scared to leave, so Oswald needs to find a way to distract the animatronics. Go to the Party Hallway and turn on the ice cream machine on the far left side of the room (near the vent), so that it makes a noise. Head back to the Security Office after.
How to get the girl out of the freezer in FNAF: Into the Pit
The girl is gone now, so check the cameras again. Scan to the Party Hallway to see Spring Bonnie dragging the girl to the Kitchen. Head there and it turns out that she's trapped in the walk-in freezer. Next, you'll need to find something to break it open. Luckily, there's something very useful in the Arcade.
Head there and look for the arcade cabinet with the Hammer. Break it off and take it back to the Kitchen. Use it to break the handle off the freezer and free the trapped girl. Freddy will peek his head it for a moment but doesn't see the kids and leaves. Just as the girl escapes, Spring Bonnie bursts in and tries to choke Oswald. Break free during the QTE and escape back through the Ball Pit. Day 5 begins.
Oswald's House & Pizzeria - Day & Night 5
Oswald awakens in his bed from another nightmare and realizes he's slept all day. Leave the house (Spring Bonnie doesn't seem to be around) and head straight to the Pizzeria for the final showdown. Night 5 immediately begins.
Head to the Ball Pit room, only discover it's locked all of a sudden. Go look for Jeff, who can be found in the Security Office playing computer games. After some dialogue, he'll give you the Ball Pit Door Key, allowing you to go back in. As you go back into the Dining Area, Spring Bonnie will appear and give chase back to the Ball Pit.
How to get the Party Room Keycard in FNAF: Into the Pit
Dive through, and find a place to hide until he gives up the chase. Head to the Party Hallway, where you'll hear one last child that's trapped in the Party Room, the last area that's been locked off all game. A Keycard is required to get inside.
Since Freddy and Bonnie are blocking the stage and the entrance to the rooms behind it, you'll need to maneuver around them via the vent shaft in the Party Hallway, which conveniently goes to all the way to the Basement. Once you emerge there, go to the Backstage area and walk over to the pile of animatronic parts.
Interact with it and the Party Room Keycard will tumble out. Grab it and head back to the vent you came through to go back to the Party Hallway. Spring Bonnie may be patrolling, so be careful until they leave. Use the Keycard to enter the Party Room, and go to the brown-haired girl standing in the back.
As she leaves to escape, she'll drop something on the ground behind her. Pick it up, and it'll be a Strange Photo. Go through the vent shaft in this room, and it will take Oswald to a new location not on the map. Inside is his dad, tied up in a chair. Go over and free him.
A banging noise on the nearby door will prompt Oswald to go head in the vent. Spring Bonnie enters and drags Dad out of the room. Go after them by going back through vent as Freddy has the door blocked. Head all the way back to the Ball Pit room, where Spring Bonnie will be fighting Oswald's dad. Succeed in the QTE (or don't, if you want the secret bad ending), and escape through the pit with Dad.
Depending on the actions you took throughout the game, there are different options for starred endings. While you will have the option to go back in from your last saved checkpoint, if you're wanting an entirely different outcome, you'll likely need to start from the beginning.
How to get all endings in FNAF: Into the Pit
There are a total of five unlockable endings in Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit, including two "secret" endings" and three that are designated by star ratings (1-3). Each ending has its own set of requirements that can be easily overlooked if you're not paying attention, so if you're going for a specific one, make sure you follow the necessary steps each night leading up to the ending.
Disclaimer: This section of the walkthrough contains extreme spoilers for all endings of Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit. Read ahead with discretion.
Secret Ending #1 - See Ya, Dad
This is the ending you're most likely to stumble across first, as it's the quickest and easiest to get. During Night 2, after evading Chica by setting the pizza trap and rescuing the kid trapped in the kitchen, if you follow the kid out through the front entrance of the pizzeria, a brief cutscene with Oswald will play, with him wondering "What do I do? Where do I go?". From there, the credits roll, and the "See Ya, Dad" achievement will unlock.
Essentially this is the ending where you opt to leave your dad behind at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, still possessed by Spring Bonnie. Presumably stuck in this "dimension", Oswald's fate isn't made clear.
Secret Ending #2 - What am I?
This ending triggers after you encounter your father at the ball pit getting attacked by Spring Bonnie. If you decide not to fight back when Spring Bonnie grabs you, the screen will go black, implying that you've been defeated.
Soon, Oswald will find himself on stage, where Freddy Fazbear can be seen waving at him. Oswald wonders what's wrong with his voice and a quick jumpscare of Foxy's face appears on the screen. If you walk down the hallway, you'll see Bonnie and Chica also waving, strangely friendly.
Spring Bonnie can be seen standing next to Pirate's Cove, where Foxy usually is (though has been gone for repairs the entire game). If you have Oswald approach Pirate's Cove, his eyes will suddenly glow, like his Dad's were while he was possessed. This alludes that Oswald has been turned into the new version of "Foxy".
This also unlocks the "What am I?" achievement.
One-Star Ending (Bad Ending)
Designated as the "bad ending", this requires you to not have Oswald pick up all of his dad's items. When escaping with Dad through the ball pit, Spring Bonnie will appear and drag Oswald back inside to Freddy Fazbear's. An animated cutscene then plays with Oswald tied up and Spring Bonnie walking in with a menacing laugh. The screen then fades to black, with Oswald's fate unknown but grim.
Obtaining this ending on either Creepy or Frightening difficulty will get you the "Pit-y Party" achievement.
Two-Star Ending (Good Ending)
For the game's "good ending", make sure you have Oswald pick up all of his dad's items, along with the Strange Photo that the Trapped Girl drops by the vent during Night 5. When facing off against Spring Bonnie at the ball pit that same night to save Dad, Oswald will drop the photo while trying to escape into the pit with his dad. Spring Bonnie will stop to pick it up before chasing after them.
Fight off Spring Bonnie when he reaches the other side (Jeff's Pizzeria), and he will bite Oswald's arm in retaliation. Spring Bonnie then gets strangled in the netting surrounding the pit, allowing you to save Dad at long last. A heartfelt cutscene will play out with Oswald and his dad reuniting outside before returning home, safe and sound.
Back at Jeff's Pizzeria, Jeff wonders if Oswald is still hanging around the ball pit and goes to check the room. He finds Spring Bonnie still tangled in the pit's net. Spring Bonnie awakens and lashes out at Jeff, still alive after all and presumably killing the owner.
Obtaining this ending on either Creepy or Frightening difficulty will get you the "Jeff?" achievement.
Three-Star Ending (True Ending)
To get the game's "true ending", or the best ending, there are a few things you need to make sure you do before the end of Night 5. First of all, make sure to pick up all five Dad Items and pick up the Strange Photo left by the girl next to the vent in the Party Room (during Night 5).
Along with that, you'll need to repair and beat every single arcade game, including the secret mini-games that pop up on your screen when performing certain actions.
Also, use your dad's phone to call Mom (same number) while in the Party Room at Freddy Fazbear's. While it's tedious, you also need to interact with the Candy Machine in the Dining Hall of Freddy Fazbear's (not Jeff's!) a minimum of 100 times. Finally, save your dad at the end of Night 5 and make sure to not get caught in the process.
Upon completion, cutscenes will show a happy ending for everyone, including Jeff's Pizzeria which now is booming with business. Obtaining this ending on either Creepy or Frightening difficulty will get you the "Family Fun Night" achievement.
All Battery locations in FNAF: Into the Pit
Batteries are a very important commodity in the game, and they're not necessarily easy to come by or find. They're used to power up your Flashlight and certain other interactable objects you can use to distract Spring Bonnie when trying to escape him.
Knowing where to find batteries is crucial, and they can be found in the following places:
- Oswald's House
- The cabinet dresser on the right side of the hallway outside the Master Bedroom. (Night 1)
- The Attic in a dresser on the left side of the room. (Night 1)
- In a red toolbox in the Basement. (Night 1)
- The cabinet shelf on the right side of the Kitchen, near the Basement door. (Night 1)
- Dresser inside the Master Bedroom. (Night 1)
- The Mill
- Inside the trash pile.
- The School
- Inside the green backpack at the Playground. (Day 2)
- Inside the lockers in the Hallway. (Day 2)
- Jeff's Pizzeria / Freddy Fazbear's Pizza
- Interact with the arcade cabinet covered with a white sheet in the Basement of Jeff's Pizzeria. (Night 2 after getting access with Basement Key)
- On the shelf in the Backstage area of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. (Night 2)
- Inside the Kitchen of Jeff's Pizzeria. (Night 2; must first distract Jeff to get access to Kitchen)
Where to find all Arcade Parts in FNAF: Into the Pit
Arcade Parts are important for repairing the broken-down arcade cabinets at Jeff's Pizza, as these can help you unlock various endings along with other special pieces of FNAF lore. These parts are scattered in different places on different nights, so you'll need to know when and where to look for them. Once you do find them, they'll automatically go into your inventory, to be used when needed.
In regards to the parts found in the Pizzeria, we've indicated whether they're found in Jeff's Pizzeria (the present) or Freddy Fazbear's Pizza (the past), to avoid confusion.
- Puzzle Matrix/Solve the Puzzle - Found at the Mill (Night 1)
- Space Age Speakers/Fast Food Invader - Inside the Arcade Room of the Pizzeria (Night 1; Jeff's)
- Power Supply/Deliver the Pizza - Found in the Pizzeria, in the hallway adjacent to the Kitchen. The part will be in a trashcan underneath the Paper pals hanging on the wall. (Night 1; Jeff's)
- Electron Gun/Shoot the Space Balloons - In the room next to the Arcade in the Pizzeria. (Night 1; Jeff's)
- Control Panel/Collect the Hats - In the Pizzeria, on the table in the Hallway. (Night 1; Jeff's)
- Wooden Balls/Pizzaroller - Inside the Ball Pit room. (Night 2 or 3; Freddy Fazbear's)
- Token Slot/Rescue the Children - Inside the Basement room of the Pizzeria. (Night 1; Freddy Fazbear's)
- Heftin' With Helpules/Weight Resistance Mechanism - Inside the Basement of Oswald's House. (Day 2)
- Prize Machine - Wedged between desks inside the classroom at the School. (Day 2)
- Ticket Counter - Sitting on the floor to the left of Pirate's Cove. (Night 3; Freddy Fazbear's)
How to unlock all mini-games in FNAF: Into the Pit
The FNAF franchise has always loved incorporating lore-filled mini-games wherever possible, and Into the Pit is no exception. There are three secret mini-games that can be triggered by doing certain actions on certain nights in a playthrough.
Fetch
Collect tickets from the arcade machines, and then go to the Ticket Eater and offer your tickets to it. In exchange, it will give you vouchers for the prize machine. Note you MUST do this before the prize machine eventually breaks. We've confirmed that the machine is inaccessible on Night 5.
Use at least five vouchers (FNAF's most popular number) on the prize machine, the Fetch mini-game will automatically start. The goal is to collect all of the red balloons, but eventually the robotic dog will charge and attack, presumably killing the player.
Count The Ways
Interact with the candy machine at the Dining Area inside Freddy Fazbear's Pizza (NOT Jeff's Pizzeria) 100 times, which will trigger the Count The Ways mini-game. A mysterious black and white female character (most likely Millie) appears and the goal is to collect each set of five items until you reach the end where approaching a strange figure causes the woman to cry. The screen goes black before returning you to Oswald in-game.
This can be done as early as the Prologue when Oswald first enters Freddy Fazbear's Pizza before the attack happens. Even better, you'll also get the 'Sugar Rush' achievement along the way, which requires you to interact with the machine 10 times.
To Be Beautiful
This mini-game is unlocked by calling Oswald's Mom during Night 5. Remember that her number is 555-5683, and you need to do this while in the Party Room at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.
A mini-game starring what looks like an alternate version of Circus Baby starts, where you must put together all the pieces into an unknown person (consensus seems to be that it's Eleanor). It requires you to do this over and over, as their outfit gradually changes from brown to pink.
Where to find all Dad Items in FNAF: Into the Pit
The mysterious personal items that all belong to Oswald's dad (and their family in general) are found scattered throughout the Pizzeria, presumably after he was kidnapped by Spring Bonnie. These are critically important, as finding them will help you get the game's best endings.
Below we've listed all five "Dad Items", where they're located, and what night to find them on. They're all found in Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.
- Dad's Wallet - Found in the Backstage area of the Pizzeria (Night 1)
- Photo of Oswald - Golden Freddy/Storage suit room (Night 2 or 3)
- Family Vacation Photo - In the Kitchen area next to the oven. (Night 3)
- Dad's Name Tag - Bottom right side of the Golden Freddy/Storage room. (Night 4)
- Dad's Wedding Ring - Next to the young girl hiding in the Security room. (Night 4)
There is also the "Who are they?" photo, which is found in the Party Room near the brown-haired girl that Oswald finds. (Night 5) This unlocks the hidden "Who are they?" achievement.
All Secret Phone Numbers in FNAF: Into the Pit
When Oswald gets hold of his dad's phone, it turns out that there are several other secret numbers you can punch in to get different easter eggs. Below we've listed all of the secret phone numbers currently found in the game, and what happens when they're used.
- 911 - The automated response tells you to contact the nearest police station; unlocks the "Who You Gonna Call?" achievement.
- Mechanic (555-2277) - The voice on the other end says they can't fix animatronics
- This number can be found inside the phonebook near the Attic in Oswald's House.
- Plumber (555-5325) - The voice on the other end sounds like Oswald's dad.
- Also found in the same phonebook as the Mechanic's number.
- Mom (555-5683) - This is the number you need to call to progress the story.
- Found taped to the fridge in the Kitchen of Oswald's house.
- Jeff's Pizza (555-5333) - Call this number repeatedly each day/night, and eventually the infamous Phone Guy will answer instead of Jeff. He even makes a subtle reference to William Afton, the series' notorious villain.
- Also found taped to the fridge in the Kitchen of Oswald's house.
- Freddy's Pizza (1800083) - An automated message from Freddy Fazbear's Pizza plays, talking about their Pizza of the Month called "The Golden Bite", which has 83 slices (referencing the 'Bite of 83') of cheese smothered with "exotic butters" (reference to FNAF: Sister Location).
- Found in the room with the Golden Freddy suit in Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.
- William Afton? (777-4648) - An incredibly chilling call with what sounds like William Afton laughing menacingly as he murders someone. The call then ends.
How to get all achievements in FNAF: Into the Pit
Below we've listed all 38 achievements that can be unlocked while playing Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit. Some are hidden and require a good stroke of intuition to uncover, while others will unlock automatically while playing through the story as Oswald.
