For The King 2 offers brutal turn-based combat, which can be challenging for solo players. Those looking to offset this difficulty may be encountering an issue with multiplayer in For The King 2 and wondering how to fix it.

How to fix multiplayer not working error in For The King 2

Since For The King 2's launch, players have been reported errors with multiplayer not working, and sadly it's not as easy as curing status conditions. These range from being unable to reach the menu, no games or servers populating, an infinite loading screen, and more. While you can try various solutions, the developer suggested the following fix to resolve multiplayer issues in For The King 2.

  • Select a region in the top left of the menu it is set to null by default so nothing populates.

Players have reported this fixes the For The King 2 multiplayer issue. I recommend giving this solution a try, as it seems to work.

Another fix with good success is suggested by the For The King Discord.

  • Create a public game with password required.
  • Wait at least five minutes.
  • Have players enter the game name in search.
  • Enter the password and join.

However, if you still encounter issues trying to play multiplayer in For The King 2, you can also try the solutions below.

  • Restart For The King 2.
  • Restart your PC.
  • Uninstall and reinstall For The King 2.
  • Delete all files in the AppData\LocalLow\IronOak Games\For The King II folder.

The developer is aware of the issue and is working to create a permanent fix for multiplayer issues in For The King 2. IronOak Games has already published a few hotfixes for the game, trying to address the multiplayer issue and other errors. If none of the above solutions worked for you, being patient and waiting for an update may be your last option.
