How to remove curses in For The King 2

I put a spell on you...

It doesn’t matter how innocent a situation may look to me in For The King 2; I can be sure something nasty will usually happen. One of the worst-case scenarios is curses, so if you’ve been struck by one, read on for what to do next.

Unlike most other status effects in For The King 2, curses can’t be cured by your Herbalist (if you have one). But there are a few ways to deal with these debilitating afflictions.

So far, I’ve found two ways to deal with curses, no matter what kind they are. The easiest way is to head to the nearest town and hope they have a Priest on the list of Services. For a cool 30 Gold, the Priest will remove all curses from a single character. The Priest is a common service you should find in every town on your map.

The other way is much more random and requires a specific item. I’ve been lucky enough to find Hag’s Bane as a loot drop a few times, but it is also possible to find it on the Market in some towns or as random rewards in other locations. It is an uncommon item, so not too rare, but it is easy to go a whole run without seeing one. If we find more ways to cure curses as we continue to explore the game, we’ll add them here, so check back for the latest updates.
