For The King 2 Patch Notes

For The King 2 is the hotly anticipated sequel to For The King by IronOak Games. After release, the game receives updates to add features, balance change, and fix errors; below are all currently available patch notes for it.

All For the King 2 Patch Notes Hotfix 1.0.15 - November 5, 2023

This hotfix addresses balance and difficulty in a number of areas across the campaign whilst also improving adventure specific issues.

This also includes more fixes for common multiplayer connectivity and instability issues.

MULTIPLAYER & INSTABILITY

• Fixed one of the issues causing players to receive the ‘Adventure not found’ error message, improving multiplayer room connectivity.
• Fixed an issue that caused the Lobby UI to lock when accepting a Steam invite.

BALANCE

• Jelly side quest has been reduced from 3 Jellies to 2.
• Softened Apprentice difficulty on all adventures.
• Improved difficulty scaling for parties with less than 4 characters.
• Adjusted the challenge to loot ratio in town quests.
• Fixed an issue where players were able to buy items in the Lore Store multiple times resulting in a negative balance.
• Fixed an issue with the ‘Came Out Clean On The Other Side’ Achievement unlocking via completing the cellar.

The Resistance

• Provided more rounds for players to complete the initial quests.
• Increased the number of rounds from 5 to 6 before chaos advances on the timeline.
• Increased the number of rounds from 4 to 5 before Queensguard waves attack.
• Added Chaos Reduce and Life Pool in each Resistance Camp.

Primordial Oak

• Increased the number of rounds from 5 to 6 before chaos advances on the timeline.
• Added Chaos Reduce quests to the Siege Towns.

All For the King 2 Patch Notes Hotfix 1.0.13 - November 3, 2023

• *Includes multiple fixes and improvements to multiplayer and UI.
• Fixed a multiplayer issue where a player leaving during party management softlocked the game.
• Fixed the issue where using Identify Scrolls caused softlocks in online games.
• Fixed an issue where the password entry and lobby search entry was losing focus and words couldn’t be entered.
• Fixed an issue that was causing a black screen on launch for certain users
• Fixed the issue where two enemies were loading onto the same tile in combat.
• Added tooltips for passives abilities and skills in Party Management and Player Summary/Inventory.

• Fixed an issue resulting in endless loading when trying to join a multiplayer session

All For the King 2 Patch Notes Hotfix 1.0.11 - November 3, 2023

• Fixed an issue where a server region was not automatically selected when creating a multiplayer room, causing a server timeout.

All For the King 2 Patch Notes Hotfix 1.10 - November 2, 2023

• Fixed an issue causing specific CPU chipsets to crash during loading

All For the King 2 Patch Notes Hotfix 1.09 - November 2, 2023

• Fixed an issue where Game UI can become unresponsive in multiplayer and single player, players are unable to move characters in the overworld
• Fixed an issue where the game locks when loading

How often does For The King 2 update?

There is no set schedule for when For The King 2 updates. However, IronOak Games updated the game with two quick hotfixes the day of release, showing they are responsive when errors appear. These were smaller hotfixes, more aimed at fixing small things, but players can expect more time between larger updates.

Larger updates will likely add more content, like characters, items, locations, and more. IronOak Games has released a roadmap detailing what content players can expect. But smaller updates should come in between these larger ones. Here is the For The King 2 roadmap.
