How to get Kraken Eye in Forager

Forager is a deep crafting and farming sim-style game with a touch of old-school Zelda-style combat thrown in. Explore the world while leveling up and learning new skills, completing quests, and building up your base. Money earned can open new areas to explore, but reach comes with new dangers to face and puzzles to work out. As I reached higher levels, I found the items I needed to craft new gear became increasingly obscure, especially with so many biomes to search in. So, if you’re stuck on where to find a Kraken Eye in Forager, read on.

Forager - Where can you find a Kraken Eye?

There are two ways to get a Ktaken Eye in Forager. The first is through luck and cash via the Wandering Trader. But, as the items he carries are randomized, and you’re not even sure if you’re going to see him each night (it’s thought to be between a 30 and 50 percent chance), it is far from reliable if you need one fast. The best way to get a Kraken Eye is by fishing in the Void Biome.

To get to the Void biome, you’re going to need the Void Portal. This can also be brought from the Wandering Adventure (for a few thousand coins) and I found it to be relatively common in his stock. Alternatively, you can make one via the Sigil Maker. This requires the Summoning skill.

How to fish for Kraken's Eye in Forager

You will of course need the Fishing skill and have a Fishing Rod. Once you have them, you can head into the Void. If you haven’t been to the void, it has a series of levels on which you need to defeat a certain number of creatures to be able to progress. However, if fishing for Kraken Eyes, it can be done on level one. If you don’t have what you need when it times out, you can just go in again. All you need to do is fish off of any edge of the land rather than having to try to find a pool. You should have a Kraken Eye in no time.
