Fishstick is a very unique Rare skin that was released in December 2018. It is a very detailed skin for the price, and is completely different than all other currently available outfits. Not only that, you also get the Saltwater Satchel back bling, which isn't standard for the rarity. The actual outfit itself depicts a Koi or Goldfish that has morphed into a humanoid somehow. This does not appear to be your standard no-skin in a mascot uniform situation. In fact, the skin's featured image of the outfit seems confused on how it ended up in this situation.
The description of the skin references Maki Master, which is part of the Sushi collection. A large fish would likely want to stay very far away from a Sushi Chef.
Fishstick has received a World Cup 2019 style, and it is available for free to any owners of Fishstick. The skin will be available for purchase while the World Cup is going on. Once the event is over, the style will never be available again!

I have had the Fishstick since its very first time in the item shop and i dont have the world cup style, what is going on?!
You had to buy the world cup skin ( the women) and then you would unlock the style for fish sticks

Yes, a lot of skins should have free styles (Brite Bomber, Love Ranger, Team Leaders) but that’s not fault of the players.

It will come back at some point, it’s a pretty popular skin. Unfortunately, we don’t really ever have know when. It’s usually between 30 – 90 days.
It will be available within the item shop on July 25th 2019 when the Fortnite word cup starts. It will also have the World Cup selectable style.

Fishstick is probably the skin that Epic give more love. 1,200 VBucks, a funny style, creative, unique and designed skin that the add a cool alternative style back on Season 8 and now they give him an even more cooler alternative style to match the futuristic Season 9. Cool skin, maybe the best skin in Price-Quality terms in the entire game.
My theory behind him is that some evil magician (maybe the Ice King) turn an entire army in Koi fishes. Then Blackheart convince them (or hire them) as his pirates army and when they loose the battle against the Prisioner and Ruin they just give up. Later they adapt for the future and try to become normal citizens in Neo Tilted that like digital media entertainment.
But that’s just a theory. A game theory.
