All new POIs in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 has arrived with a brand new map featuring unique POIs and landmarks. This is an entirely new island, so you need to be familiar with all the locations to survive longer in every match.

Every POI in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 (Map Location)

There are a total of 11 POIs in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1, and each of them has ample loot for players. I've played several matches to discover all the new areas, check out the boss locations, and explore the map for new items. Check out the map image above to see all the new POIs added in the game.

New mechanics like weapon modifications were also added this season, making combat even more intriguing. Naturally, you need to strategize around which POIs to land at from the start of the season to dominate the early fights just after landing. Here are all the POIs you'll find in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1.

Grand Glacier

Located on the eastern corner of the map in the snowy biome, Grand Glacier is home to the new boss Montague in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1. This multi-storied building is the perfect spot to land at if you want to get good loot and a few early eliminations. Be careful, as the POI is guarded by AI forces, cameras, and turrets, so it's best to destroy the defenses first.

Classy Courts

Over on the northern side of the map in the snowy biome is Classy Courts. A regular POI with a few tennis courts that have several chests and ample ground loot. This is a great place to land at if you are looking for a passive drop since there are no bosses at this POI. However, it is a little far from the center of the island, so find rotational tools or vehicles to move around easily.

Lavish Lair

Moving west from Classy Courts you'll come across Lavish Lair, a new POI located in the snow biome. You'll find the Oscar boss at this POI, and this character has several minions at their disposal. The perimeter of the building has cameras and turrets, so I'd recommend landing on the terrace to find loot, before eventually coming down. The boss is located inside the greenhouse behind the big building, so take your time to gather loot before engaging the NPC.

Rebel's Roost

Over on the far northwestern edge of the map is Rebel's Roost, another perfect spot for passive players. There is one massive building at this POI, and you'll also find a Weapon Case at this location. Since this POI is a little far from the center, I recommend getting vehicles or rotational tools like the Grapple Blade beforehand.

Ritzy Riviera

Ritzy Riviera is a new POI located on the western banks of the grassland biome. This area looks like a dockyard, with several houses and smaller huts. There are chests scattered all around this POI, enough for an entire squad. I like landing at this POI as there are no bosses here, so you might only face a handful of opponents while dropping at this location.

Pleasant Piazza

Snooty Steppes

Snooty Steppes is one of the new POIs located on the southwestern edge of the map in Chapter 5 Season 1. This is the location where you'll find Peter Griffin, one of the bosses carrying a Society Medallion. Since this POI will be contested by opponents, I recommend visiting this area a few times to memorize the stairs and zipline spots. There are a few vehicles parked around the edge of this POI, locate and use them to quickly get out of storm damage in case the circle starts closing.

Fencing Fields

Fencing Fields is located on the southern side of the map, and this new POI is the best place to hot drop for several reasons. Despite being a small POI, you can move around quite easily at this location, taking cover behind the structures and vaulting over the houses. You'll also find the Nisha boss at this location along with several AI forces. Expect numerous players to drop at this spot, so it is ideal to equip yourself with weapons and shields before engaging opponents.

Ruined Reels

Ruined Reels is located near the center of the map, and it looks like a combination of the Colosseum and Risky Reels POIs from previous chapters. The buildings here are small and there's an amphitheater on the western side of the POI. Some of the houses have broken rooftops, so you can easily gain height while engaging other players at this location.

Reckless Railways

Reckless Railways is a new POI located near the center of the map in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1. This is where you'll come across the new Valeria boss and her team of AI combatants. The entire area is rigged with turrets and cameras, so be careful while moving around. My suggestion is to get full shields and good weapons first before engaging the boss. You'll likely face tons of opponents at this location as there's a vault located at this POI.

Hazy Hillside

Hazy Hillside is another POI located in the snowy biome towards the southeastern side of the map. This POI is divided into a couple of blocks, and ziplines run across the houses allowing you to traverse easily. You can expect players to contest for this location as it has a Weapon Case which contains top-rarity guns with good attachments.
