According to the leaks (some already known), the upcoming Chapter 6 will have various exciting features like prone and swinging mechanics. The latter is a game-changing feature that will only further enhance the current ongoing meta of using character speed to reposition and fight. Just imagine the chaos in the lobby when multiple movement-based abilities like swinging, nitro, and flowberry fizz are being used at the exact same moment!
The prone mechanic looks like a decent feature if it makes it to the final game. It will allow players to play more methodically and strategically by capturing high ground in lower elos, but it may be a hit or miss in higher-ranked games with all the movement-based abilities. For example, the notion of lying down with a sniper in an elevated position may sound great, but you will definitely find several enemies swinging or using their nitro abilities to reach and attack you with shotguns.
