Fortnite Forged In Slurp Challenges Guide – Cheat Sheet, Loading Screen

This Forged In Slurp Challenges Guide walks you through the list of challenges you'll need to complete to earn the rewards for this mission. Epic has simplified things in Chapter 2: Season 1. There's no longer battle stars, you can only earn experience which will level up your battle pass and get your closer to tier 100! It appears that Missions will no longer expire like they did in the previous season, so you won't have to rush to complete these.

Forged In Slurp Challenges List

Completing each challenge will get you 54,000 XP points towards your battle pass. You start off with the first three of these challenges unlocked, and you will unlock more challenges by completing each of those. If you complete 8 of these challenges you will unlock the Loading Screen for the Mission!

• Search Supply Drops in different matches (3)

Forged In Slurp Mission Guide

The challenges are fairly easily to complete, and you can always do them in Team Rumble if you feel like they might be difficult. You can also use Party Assist with any of these challenges which should help you complete the difficult ones.

Search Chests at Slurpy Swamp or Retail Row (7)

Do this one in Team Rumble, the spawn rates on chests are much higher! I'd check out Slurpy Swamp, it's a new area so it'll change things up for you! Otherwise, go to the area that seems less populated so you have all the chests to yourself.

Eliminate opponents with a weapon of each rarity (1)

There's Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary rarities in the game right now. So, you'll need to get five eliminations in total. I don't think this will be too difficult, you might struggle to find a Legendary weapon, but they aren't super hard to locate. If you head into Team Rumble, you can likely get a Supply Drop which usually has a high rarity item in it.

Upgrade an item at a Weapon Upgrade Bench (3)

Time to try out the new Weapon Upgrade Bench! If you weren't aware, these are a new mechanic that allows you to upgrade your weapons for the cost of resources. They can be found at pretty much every named location, but you'll find some exact locations with the map below. This map isn't a full list, but shows a bunch of them.

Upgrade Costs

To upgrade a weapon, you'll need to pay a certain amount of each resource (Wood, Brick, and Metal). The amount is determined by which rarity you are going to be upgrading to. You can only upgrade weapons that have an increased rarity to what you have. A legendary weapon can't be upgraded to anything else. Items like Small Shields and Bandages can't be upgraded to Full Shields or Medkits.

• Common = Uncommon: 50 Resources each
• Uncommon = Rare: 150 Resources each
• Rare = Epic: 250 Resources each
• Epic = Legendary: 350 Resources each

Dance at Compact Cars, Lockie's Lighthouse, and a Weather Station (1)

These are some of the new Landmark Locations that were added to the game. Lockie's Lighthouse is on the northwest part of the map, it's pretty much on an island by itself. The Compact Cars locations is reminiscent of Junk Junction, and is located to the west of Dirty Docks. Weather Station can be found on the frosty mountains on the southeast part of the map! Exact locations can be found on the map below.

Deal Damage with Common weapons (500)

Pretty much every weapon has a common version in Chapter 2 of Fortnite, so you will have a lot of options for this challenge. There's no real trick to this, just head into games and try to deal damage!

Mark an Uncommon, Rare, and Epic item (1)

If you never mark anything, you should check your settings to see what key you have it bound to. You can then target items of different rarities to complete this challenge.

Eliminate opponents at E.G.O. outposts or Retail Row (3)

Retail Row is going to be the easiest option to get eliminations at because it's a named location and a popular spot to land. There are five different E.G.O. outposts you can find on the map, each of them is a landmark which will gain you xp if you visit it!

Search Ammo Boxes at Landmarks (7)

There are a ton of Landmarks all over the map, so this one should be pretty easy. However, if you want to get it done faster, you might want to hit some of the large ones. The E.G.O. areas are pretty big, there's also Risky Reels which would be a good option. Here's a map with the majority of the locations:

Search Supply Drops in different matches (3)

This will be really easy in Team Rumble because they drop very frequently and they are often not contested!

Deal Damage with Legendary weapons (250)

Find yourself a Legendary weapon and deal some damage.

Forged In Slurp Mission Loading Screen

Once you've completed eight of these challenges, you will receive the Forged In Slurp loading screen! This shows off the new Rippley vs Sludge skin, and it appears that he was created due to the slurp runoff at the Slurpy Swamp. You might want to think twice before eating fish out of that area!

Hidden R Location

The R is located on the eastern side of the Slurp factories at the Slurpy Swamp. It's over right next to the pipe that is spewing out toxic slurp into the river. You'll need to go under that huge pipe into this kind of hidden area to find the letter.
