The Jelly Angler is one of the 22 Augments available in the game, and you can select it while in a match. Naturally, players need to know how to use this Augment to stay ahead of opponents. Here's how to use the Jelly Angler Augment in Fortnite.

How to use the Jelly Angler augment in Fortnite

The Jelly Angler Augment is a part of the looting category, and players selecting this perk will get a Fishing Rod that can be used to only catch Jellyfish. Jellyfish is a consumable item that heals 20 HP. It takes a second to consume, and you can have three pieces of this item in one inventory slot. Jellyfish is an interesting item as it functions similarly to the Chug Splash. Teammates standing around you will also get healed if you consume a Jellyfish.

The Jelly Angler Augment is one of the best perks in the game for several reasons. Firstly, players can collect this fish from any part of a water body, meaning you don't need to aim the Fishing Rod at fishing holes to catch it. After collecting ample Jellyfish, you can effectively stay outside the circle for a while and heal for as long as needed. Teammates standing around your character will also get healed at the same time.

You can combine this Augment with other Reality Augments to make it even more interesting. For instance, select the Forecast Augment to determine where the next zone will be located and check if that area has a water body. Visit the location and start fishing for Jellyfish. Keep the item handy, so you and your teammates can heal during fights or from zone damage.
