Fortnite Season 3 Week 4 Challenges Guide – Cheat Sheet

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

We're taking a detailed look at how-to complete all of the Season 3 Week 4 Challenges in this guide! Challenges seem to have been simplified for the most part for this season. They aren't really tied to the skins, and they have pretty standard requirements that aren't going to be foreign to you if you've done any in the past. You will get quite a bit of experience for completing them all, so I would make sure to do them if you want to max out your pass.

Week 4 Cheat Sheet

Here's a look at a cheat sheet for the week 4 challenges (credit to squatingdog). You can find details on all of the challenges below.

Week 4 Challenges Guide

Just like the previous season, make sure you do any henchmen, marauders, or vault based challenges in normal modes because they won't show up in Team Rumble!

Search Chests at Salty Springs (7)

Salty Springs is a very popular location for hot dropping, so don't expect to go into this place by yourself in the normal battle royale mode. I would head into Team Rumble and try to get some chests that way, although you'll probably be sharing it with some teammates.

Credit to lootlake.info for the map featuring the chests!

Eliminations at Holly Hedges (3)

Holly Hedges is on the western portion of the map at the very edge. It's not a particularly big location, so if the bus path flies over it you might find some good action there. Team Rumble will be rough for this because the circle will rarely ever fall on it. You could potentially try to fly there if you're on the opposite map side and sneak in some eliminations, but it's probably just easier to hot drop.

Collect Floating Rings at Pleasant Park (1)

The floating rings in Pleasant Park are all along the ziplines that surround the area. You can start at one of two spots to make this the most efficient. The southern most location to the southwest of the main area of the park is a good one. You can grab the ring there, head on the zipline that travels northeast, grab the second ring on top of that windmill, head northwest on that zipline to grab the third ring on top of the northernmost windmill, then take the final zipline to go southwest. This will get you all four rings, or you could just start at the last floating ring, and go in the reverse direction to get them all!

Complete a lap at Motorboat Mayhem (1)

This challenge was leaked, but does not appear to be apart of the set. I'm leaving this here just in-case it's a bug.

Head to the big lake north of Misty Meadows and to the west of the big island there's a whole area dedicated to boats and racing. Grab one of those boats, there's at least four that spawn there, and head to the starting line for the race north of the area. Wait at the location and once the light turns green you can start up driving your boat through the rings. You should complete a full lap all the way back to the starting line and complete the challenge!

Here's a video showing off how you do the racing:

Land at Frenzy Farm and finish Top 25 (1)

Well, not much to this challenge! You have some different options available to you to complete it. You can land there and then go hide out for the entire round and hope you make it into the top 25. You can just be a beast at the game, land there, then slay out for a victory.

Collect Metal from Rickety Rig (200)

The Rickety Rig is literally covered in tons of metal objects so this shouldn't be too difficult. You can make it easier if you head into Team Rumble and do it there so you don't have to worry about getting eliminated.

Dance on camera for 10s at Sweaty Sands (10)

I would do this in Team Rumble so you don't get eliminated while you're trying to bust a move. Head to Sweaty Sand and in the northern part of the map you'll see a large wooden dock. In about the middle of it, you will see a dance pad with a Jonesy cardboard cutout. Stand on the four-squared dance pad and use one of your dance emotes for 10 seconds to complete the challenge.

Search Ammo Boxes at Steamy Stacks (7)

You will no doubt remember Steam Stacks from last season, so you should be familiar with the place. It's on the northeastern portion of the map, and there's quite a few ammo boxes to loot while you are there. You can check out this map from LootLake for exact locations.

Deal damage to opponents at The Authority (500)

This challenge was leaked, but does not appear to be apart of the set. I'm leaving this here just in-case it's a bug.

Well, this should be an easy one, especially if you do it in Team Rumble. This is a common spot for the circle to land in TR, so I would expect you can easily get it done there. If not, you could always hot drop and look for fights. You might get credit for damage on Henchmen, but I'm not sure on that. If anyone tries this out, let me know in the comments!
