All Fortnite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles event details

With all the hype around this event, we can expect big things to come out of it. Not only will there be quests to complete for rewards, but a ton of new items will enter the game, much like the Star Wars events we've seen in the past. Here's everything you need to know:

When is the TMNT event in Fortnite?

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle event is set to arrive in Fortnite on Friday, February 9, at the usual update time of 9am ET, 8am CT, 2pm UK time. This start time will drop everything new at once, including the TMNT mini Battle Pass, quests, and in-game items. The event will only run for a limited time, most likely until the end of the month.

What is the TMNT event in Fortnite?

The TMNT event is inspired by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from the comic book, movie, and show franchise. These mutated turtles are ninja vigilantes living in the sewers beneath New York and fighting against the villainous Shredder and his minions.

The event will be about two weeks long, extending to the end of February. During the event, players can find new items in-game, like Mythic weapons, unvaulted items like Pizza Boxes, NPC characters, and map changes. They will also be able to earn rewards from the mini TMNT Battle Pass by earning points from completing quests.

What is the TMNT Battle Pass?

Like past events, Star Wars or Jujitsu Kaisen, the TMNT will have its page, set up like a Battle Pass, with rewards to claim. You can get to the page by switching over to the TMNT icon at the top of the lobby screen. To claim rewards from it, you will gain points by completing quests. This mini Battle Pass will have two tracks, one with free rewards and one that must be unlocked by purchasing Premium access with V-Bucks.
