How long will OG Fortnite last?

Welcome to 2018.

Epic Games is letting us relive glorious 2018 by going through the well-received Fortnite Chapter 1 all over again. Here's how long the festivities will last and when OG Fortnite comes to an end.

When does Fortnite OG season end?

Unlike previous seasons, Fortnite OG will be on an accelerated path and come to a close much faster than usual. If you're as bummed about that as I am, don't fret because you'll still have a month to play and relive your glory days. Fortnite OG ends December 3.

What makes this season interesting is we know what content will be coming and how to prepare for it. Epic has already laid out what each patch will look like for the season as we go through the Chapter 1 greatest hits. However, Epic will likely make adjustments, and we have the Zero Build game mode now to balance around. Maybe it won't be exactly the same for those reasons, so we'll have to wait and see how it plays out.

What to expect in Fortnite OG

We'll kick things off with a return to Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 5, and then we progress from there. Each update will bring us into a new season that culminates in a mix of Season 9 and X, beginning November 23. Throughout the season we'll see the return of things like the Baller and Stormwing planes, but there's been no mention of the mechs so far. Familiar weapons like the Pump Shotgun and Tactical Shotgun are already back, so jump in and experience that rush of nostalgia.

As for what comes after the OG season wraps up, it's anybody's guess. We could possibly do the same type of accelerated content for Chapter 2, but it remains to be seen.
