The Doom Battle Pass in Fortnite requires you to "Survive Fire Damage" as the first of 12 quests to unlock rewards as you complete them. This first one can be a bit tricky to get right, though, so here are the best tips and tricks to easily survive fire damage in Fortnite.
How to complete the Survive Fire Damage quest in Fortnite
You can complete the Survive Fire Damage quest in Fortnite by sitting in a car that explodes or jumping into the Furnace in Castle Doom.
The easiest way to get it done, though, is to find a gas station and blow up the pump. This means you can control the fire damage you take a little better, but it's still advisable to have some healing items on hand so you don't find yourself in a situation where you're about to get eliminated.
Alternatively, you can find Firefly Jars and throw them on the ground to take the fire damage you need, but they're a little trickier to find than Gas Stations.
You can find a Gas Station just South of Doomstadt, which will also give you the opportunity to complete the quest where you need to eliminate players in this area to get the new Doctor Doom skin. As for Fireflies, you can look for them in the forest areas of the map (like near Rebel's Roost) or near water.
Thankfully, fire damage in Fortnite doesn't tick your health down too much. Despite this, it's always best to make sure you can survive it. Especially if you decide to go the gas station route, a big explosion may alert and attract other players to your location.
You need to take and survive fire damage four times to complete the quest, and once you do, you'll be rewarded with 20,000 XP.
That's all on surviving fire damage for now, but make sure to check out how to unlock Doctor Doom's powers and how to quickly get rid of Henchmen on Pro Game Guides.
