Mounting has been an option for Fortnite players for several seasons now, and every now and then, a quest is introduced that requires players to do it. Luckily, eliminating an opponent while mounted isn't all that difficult to complete.

How to eliminate opponents while mounted in Fortnite

Players must eliminate three opponents while mounted to unlock the Roach glider in Fortnite as part of the Witcher quests. This is done by hopping on the back of an animal and getting the eliminations.

There are several ways to go about this, and one of the simplest ones would be just charging into battle on the back of a boar and hoping for the best. Another option would be grabbing an Infantry Rifle, sniper, or bow and fighting from afar while mounted on an animal. All things considered, it's not difficult to complete this challenge, but players do have to get it done before the end of the season if they want all of the Witcher cosmetics.

What does Mounted mean in Fortnite?

Mounting in Fortnite means getting on a tamable animal like a wolf or a boar and then riding it. Wildlife like this can be found across the map in Fortnite, so it shouldn't be too hard to track one down while wandering the map.

Being mounted up is a fast way to zip around the map so that it can be used as a mobility option in a pinch. However, there's not much defense when riding on an animal versus driving a car, so that will be something to keep in mind.
