How to get the Boom Sniper Rifle in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2

The Boom Sniper Rifle, much like the signature Boom Bow, sends out explosive projectiles that can deal significant damage to enemies in its wake. With the appearance of a Heavy Sniper, this weapon fires out Clinger grenades that stick to surfaces and detonate in a deadly explosion. This Exotic weapon can not be found in a chest or around the map, but it can only be purchased with gold bars from a few NPCs. Here is how to get it.

Buying the Sniper

Finding the NPCs should be reasonably straightforward once you head to those specified locations. They can be detected by the dialogue bubble shown on your map or compass. The only one that requires a bit more navigating is Peely, who can be found on the upper floor of a building in the Northeast of The Daily Bugle.

Head over to the NPCs and speak with them, and they should give you the option to purchase the Boom Sniper. It does cost 600 gold bars, so you'll want to make sure you stock up before buying it. Even though it's only available to you for one match, it can be well worth the buy. It can mean the difference between losing and winning, allowing you to easily blow up your competition.
