How to get The Foundation’s Plasma Spike in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 recently received the 19.20 update, and The Foundation challenges have been added to the game files. These challenges will arrive in-game on Feb. 3, 2022, and players can start completing each of them to unlock The Foundation cosmetics.

The Foundation's Plasma Strike harvesting tool can be unlocked by dealing 100 melee damage to opponents. The Foundation's cosmetics will be available to players who own this season's battle pass, and each item will have a specific challenge assigned to it.

Since players have to deal 100 melee damage, it is ideal to land at a hot drop location to complete this challenge quickly. Players can also try to complete this challenge in squad mode where getting melee damage on knocked opponents is easy.

The Foundation's Plasma Strike harvesting tool is one of the 11 cosmetic items players can unlock by completing these challenges in the battle pass. The other rewards include a Cape back bling, one weapon wrap, one emote, and two unique edit styles for The Foundation skin.
